摘要： A computer-based hosted service for the standardization and implementation of holistic mortgage finance transactions is disclosed. The computer-based service allows a participant in the finance transaction to combine all required loan information for a given loan program into a single universal document library, coupled with the required forms, rules, database management tools and routines necessary to support various multiple in-process revisions and change control features for providing specific loan documents. By accessing the service, a lender can implement multiple versions of basic loan documents in various formats and manage the required changes through a controlled series of review and approval steps. In the most preferred embodiments of the present invention, the universal document library incorporates a flexible methodology for creating and simultaneously managing multiple loan document collections, thereby allowing for a virtually unlimited number of customized loan programs and documents to support the various loan programs.
