    摘要: A transfer device is provided particularly for multistation presses and is arranged between two working stations. The transfer device has a suction bridge which extends transversely with respect to a transfer direction and which is guided on its ends by two control arm gearings synchronously along a predetermined transfer curve. The control arm gearings are formed by control arms or rods which are connected on the end side with the cross traverse and which, on their respective end situated away from the cross traverse 46, are held in preferably vertically aligned linear axles, in which case the control arms, in respective pairs, enclose the same angle with one another. By the targeted controlling of the linear axles, almost arbitrary transfer curves can be travelled within the scope of the range of the transfer device. All linear axles are directly supported on a stationary frame whereby a high stiffness and precision is achieved even at high accelerations.

    摘要: A transfer device for press systems has cross traverses with at least one suction unit swivellably held thereon. The suction unit has an electric drive for coordinating the swivel movement with the transfer curve (horizontal and vertical movement) to be travelled. As may be required, two or more suction units can be independently swivellable on a cross traverse. A retrofitting and retooling of existing cross traverses can be carried out by the replacement of non-swivellable suction units used so far by swivellable suction units. Other changes on the mechanical structure of the transfer device are not required.

In the case of an embodiment having six degrees of positioning freedom, three of the rods 53, 54, 55; 83, 84, 85 are applied to a first hinge point 49 of the holding device 46, 47. By means of their other ends, these rods 83, 84, 85 define a triangle. Of the remaining three rods 53, 54, 55, two 53, 54 are applied to another hinge point 56 and a third 55 is applied to a hinge point 57 situated away therefrom which again defines a triangle together with the other two hinge points 49, 56. In addition to the simple workpiece transfer, such a transfer device 41 permits complicated positioning tasks.

    摘要: A multistation press has several slides which can be moved up and down and which are equipped with tools for forming workpieces. The press a transport arrangement for transporting the workpieces within and/or between the stations. At least one cross traverse for holding the workpieces, in its resting condition, is aligned at least approximately perpendicularly with respect to the transport direction of the workpieces. The cross traverse is held at its two ends in each case a lever arrangement and can be oriented in the space. A length compensating device is arranged on at least one of the two ends of the cross traverse to change the overall length of the cross traverse between its two ends. The length compensating device has an exterior tube element, which is mounted at one end of the cross traverse on the one lever arrangement, and an interior element which is displaceably arranged inside the exterior tube element and which is mounted at the other end of the cross traverse on the other lever arrangement.

    摘要: A transfer press provided with a transfer device, having transfer units provided with cross members (37) for which the length is shorter than the width of a tool. The transfer units (29 to 32) are arranged completely between the processing stations or stages, are mounted on the crown or head piece, and are not provided with elements extending beside the tools or between supports of adjacent processing or press stations. Thus, the full width spanned by the press supports can be used for the tools. In addition, tools can be used which are provided with guides, effective between the upper tool and the lower tool, particularly in the side region. The work pieces are handled solely by means of the openings, freed by the tools and pointing counter to the transporting device, wherein no element of the transfer device extends past the side limits of the tool. The cross members (37) are preferably not supported at the ends (38, 39) by their transfer units (29 to 32), but at the locations (57, 58) at a distance thereto, thus permitting a higher operating speed.
