    摘要： A projector, which has a main body and a plurality of feet protruding from the main body to support the main body, includes a first adjuster that adjusts stepwise the amount of protrusion of at least one of the plurality of feet, and a second adjuster that infinitely and finely adjusts the amount of protrusion of at least one of the plurality of feet. The position of a projection image of the projector can be easily and speedily adjusted by coarsely adjusting the amount of protrusion of the foot by the first adjuster, and then making fine adjustment by the second adjuster.

    摘要： A projection display device capable of improving cooling efficiency of the power unit includes a light source lamp unit, a projection lens unit, an exhaust fan provided near the light source lamp unit for ventilating an outer case, and a ventilating path provided inside the power unit. A suction fan is provided at the inlet of the ventilating path which is connected to the cooling air intake port through a duct cover to directly conduct fresh air into the ventilating path. Because the interior of the power unit is cooled by fresh air which is cooler than the air inside the outer case, cooling efficiency is enhanced.

    摘要： The invention provides an air intake on the upper plane of an exterior case which is opened upwards, and a cooling fan for introducing cooling air into the apparatus from the air intake is provided above an electro-optical device. There is no limit on the amount of air introduced, and sufficient cooling air for cooling the electro-optical device can be blown onto the electro-optical device. Accordingly, the electro-optical device can be cooled efficiently, and a cooling structure capable of dealing with high luminance of the light source lamp and reduction in size of the apparatus can be obtained.

    摘要： A projector includes a lens cover which is slidable relative to a chassis for covering and exposing a projection aperture of a projection lens. A detecting section includes a light emitting portion which projects a light beam and detects the opened state or closed state of the lens cover depending on the absence or presence of the light beam received by a light receiving portion. The light emitting portion and light receiving portion are disposed so that the optical path of the light beam projected from the light emitting portion and received by the light receiving portion intersects the slide direction of the lens cover. A light shielding portion is provided in the lens cover. The light shielding portion is formed in a predetermined width in the slide direction of the lens cover.
