摘要： A benzodifuranone compounds of the formula, ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are each independently a naphthyl group or an unsubstituted or substituted phenyl group, which is useful for dyeing or printing hydrophobic fiber materials, is prepared in high purity and high yield by allowing benzofuran compounds of the formula, ##STR2## wherein R.sup.1 is as defined above, to react with acetonitrile compounds of the formula, ##STR3## wherein R.sup.2 is as defined above, and then carrying out an oxidation reaction to give the benzodifuranone compound.

摘要： A monoazo compound represented by the following formula (I) in the free acid form: ##STR1## wherein X is an alkylamino, C.sub.5 -C.sub.7 cycloalkylamino, piperidino, pyrrolidino or morpholino group which is unsubstituted or substituted with a substituent other than sulfo, R is hydrogen or unsubstituted or substituted C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl, R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 independently of one another are each hydrogen, methoxy, ethoxy, methyl, ethyl, chloro, bromo, nitro, carboxy or sulfo, Z is vinyl or -CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 Y in which Y is a group which is split by the action of an alkali and p is 0 or 1. This compound is a reactive dye suitable for dyeing or printing fiber materials containing hydroxyl group and/or amide group in red color. This compound is high in dissolvability and can give dyed or printed products excellent in dyeability such as build-up property and various fastnesses.

摘要： A reactive dye composition comprising (1) a dye having the formula, ##STR1## wherein D is an organic dye residue having at least one sulfo group, R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are independently a hydrogen atom or an unsubstituted or substituted lower alkyl group, A is an unsubstituted or substituted phenylene or naphthylene group, X is a halogen atom, and Y is a group, --SO.sub.2 CH.dbd.CH.sub.2 or --SO.sub.2 CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 Z, in which Z is a group capable of being split by the action of an alkali, and (2) a buffer, the amount of the buffer being from 3 through 80% by weight based on the weight of the dye, and the pH value of an aqueous solution prepared from the dye composition and water of 20 times as much as the weight of the dye composition being from 3.5 through 7.5, which is superior in storage stability, and useful for dyeing or printing fiber materials to give dyed or printed products having superior fastness with high reproducibility.

摘要： A novel reactive monoazo dye, which can give to cellulose fiber materials a deep orange to scarlet color superior in build-up property and chlorine fastness, represented by a free acid of the formula, ##STR1## wherein D is a phenyl group substituted with 1 to 3 substitutes selected from methyl, ethyl, methoxy, ethoxy, halogen, acetylamino, propionylamino, benzoylamino, succinylamino, maleinylamino, nitro, suflonic acid and carboxyl groups; R.sub.1 is a hydrogen atom, or a methyl or ethyl group; R.sub.2 is an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms which is unsubstituted or substituted with a hydroxy, cyano, alkoxy, halogen, carboxy, alkoxycarbonyl or sulfonic acid group; Z is a hydrogen atom or a sulfonic acid group; A is a phenylene residue which is unsubstituted or substituted with 1 or 2 substituents selected from methyl, ethyl, methoxy, ethoxy, chlorine, bromine and sulfonic acid groups; or a naphthylene residue which is unsubstituted or substituted with one sulfonic acid group; and X is --SO.sub.2 CH.dbd.CH.sub.2 or --SO.sub.2 CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 Y in which Y is a group which is splittable by alkalis.
