    摘要： An electrophoretic display device with an improved reflective luminance is presented. The electrophoretic display device includes an electrophoretic display panel including sub-pixels corresponding to four colors (e.g., red, green, blue, and white). A signal converter is provided for receiving an image signal for three colors and converting it into an image signal for four colors. A data driver is provided for supplying the converted image signal for four colors to the sub-pixels as a data voltage.

    摘要： A method of manufacturing a liquid crystal display device, comprises depositing a first fluid composition on an insulating substrate using an inkjet deposition process to form a first lens sub-portion, said first fluid composition comprising a first liquid resin; hardening the first lens sub-portion; depositing a second fluid composition on the insulating substrate using the inkjet deposition process to form a second lens sub-portion, said second fluid composition comprising a second liquid resin; hardening the second lens sub-portion to form a lens portion comprising the first lens sub-portion and the second lens sub-portion; and forming a reflective film over the lens portion. A method of manufacturing a liquid crystal display device is provided which can simplify the formation of a lens portion.

    摘要： A semi-transmission liquid crystal display comprising a liquid crystal panel; a backlight unit to emit light to the liquid crystal panel; and a data driver to apply a data voltage to a data line of the liquid crystal panel; wherein, the liquid crystal panel comprises a TFT substrate which has a transmission area transmitting light from the backlight unit and a reflection area reflecting light from exterior, a color filter substrate which has color filter layer having a concave area which is formed corresponding to the reflection area, and a liquid crystal layer which is sandwiched between the TFT substrate and the color filter substrate and having varying thickness according to the concave area; and the data driver applies the data voltage to the data line in the liquid crystal panel by a transmission voltage mode when the backlight unit is on and by a reflection voltage mode when the backlight unit is off, which configuration provides a semi-transmission LCD having good display quality without an overcoat layer flattening a color filter layer.
