摘要： An electronic apparatus includes a network connecting unit configured to make network connection with a client. A storage unit stores content which has been compressed and encoded. A transcoding unit is configured to convert the content stored in the storage unit to content compressed and encoded in a different format for the client connected via the network connecting unit. A content transmitting unit is configured to transmit the content stored in the storage unit or the content converted by the transcoding unit to the client connected via the network connecting unit. A control unit is configured to store content which meets a predetermined condition specific to the client in the storage unit from among the content converted by the transcoding unit.

摘要： According to one embodiment, an electronic apparatus includes a wireless communication device, an information acquisition module, a file management information generation module, and an access control module. The information acquisition module acquires, by wireless communication with an external device, metadata corresponding to content data which the external device can provide. The file management information generation module generates, based on the acquired metadata, file management information based on which a host apparatus recognizes the content data as a file stored in a storage medium in the electronic apparatus. The access control module is configured to, upon receiving a read request for a file corresponding to the content data, which is transmitted from the host apparatus, execute external device access processing of acquiring the content data from the external device using the wireless communication device, and output the acquired content data to the host apparatus.

摘要： According to one embodiment, an information processor includes a management module that manages a plurality of register areas in a host controller for processing data protected by copyright. The register areas store confidential information for copyright protection. The management module includes a use state management module and a release module. The use state management module manages use state information on whether the register areas are used by existing process tasks. When all the register areas are occupied by the existing process tasks and a new process task requests for the use of a register area to perform a process based on the confidential information, the release module releases a register area occupied by one of the existing process tasks according to the use state information to assign the register area to the new process task.

摘要： A portable electronic device includes a transmitting circuit, an X-ray detector, and a controller. The transmitting circuit includes a power amplifier for amplifying radio waves. The detector is arranged to detect X-rays radiated from an installation arranged on a passageway to an area where radiation of electromagnetic waves is restricted. When X-rays with a certain intensity or more are detected by the detector, a controller recognizes that the device is about to enter the area, and reduce the gain of the power amplifier, so that the transmitting circuit is set to be unable to radiate radio waves.
