The signed ADF includes an application descriptor file (302), file hash (304) of the JAR file (301), a developer descriptor file (308), signed time stamp (310), and a developer's certificate (312). A network client device (202) includes limited computing resources (212) and a virtual machine environment for executing the portable code (208). Furthermore the client device contains a set of cryptographic, digital keys for authenticating parts of the signed ADF, which are further used to authenticate the JAR file.

    摘要: A method (100) and an apparatus (e.g., a network node (210)) for providing enhanced security using service provider authentication. In addition to authenticating an application signature (245) against a root certificate (235) stored on the network node (210), a first carrier identification (250) associated with the application (240) is compared to a second carrier identification (255). If the first and second carrier identifications match, then the application can be assigned to a trusted protection domain and granted permissions which provide privileged access to the network node. For example, the application can be granted permission to be installed and/or executed on the network node. Otherwise the application can be denied privileged access. Accordingly, a carrier's applications will be only installed onto network nodes that are intended recipients of the applications.

    摘要: A lock installation system of template drill and router guides that clamp to the door to prepare doors for locking and latching devices of many different brands. The system uses changeable template drill guides clamped to the faces of the door to drill the cross hole and other specialty holes needed. The edge drilling is done with an attachment for the proper size bit or with a ¼ inch pilot hole and hole saw. The attachment also allows the pre-drilling of the screw holes for mounting the latch assembly. After removing the edge drill setup, there is a router template to cut the mortise for the latch for commercial locksets. There is an attachment for residential locks to router cut the mortise cut out for the latch assembly. The embodiment will work on beveled and square edge doors of the two most common back sets. The embodiment will do door edge center, off set drilling and latch assembly mortising. There is also a means to help align the embodiment on a door that has a pre-existing preparation. The smaller version of this embodiment is for where the door edge latch mortising is not required.

The forward end of the preferred arrangement of the ski shoe includes an upwardly turned end to allow the apparatus to slide over the snow. A second arrangement includes a ski shoe having both ends adapted with upturned ends so that the skateboard ski can be used in either a backward or forward direction.
