    摘要: In transfer printing apparatus of electrophotographic apparatus of the type wherein a receptor sheet is urged against a photosensitive element carried by a rotary drum by means of a transfer printing roller so as to transfer print an electrostatic latent image formed on the photosensitive element onto the receptor sheet there is provided a stationary separating member between the receptor sheet and the photosensitive element. Preferably, the separating member comprises a pair of strips which are disposed at an angle with respect to the direction of movement of the receptor sheet.

    摘要: A method of electrophotography comprising a first step of applying a first electric field across a photosensitive element including a transparent electrode, a photosensitive photoconductive layer exhibiting persisting internal polarization and a highly insulative layer to deposit a charge of one polarity on the surface of the highly insulative layer, a second step of applying a second electric field across the photosensitive element to deposit a charge of the opposite polarity on the surface of the highly insulative layer concurrently with the projection of a light image upon the photosensitive photoconductive layer through the transparent electrode layer whereby to form a latent image corresponding to the light image on the surface of the highly insulative layer and a third step of developing the latent image with a toner to form a powder image, said first, second and third steps being repeated successively with light images of different colors, and toners of different colors while the photosensitive element is held stationary whereby to form a plurality of powder images of different colors which are superposed upon each other.

    摘要: In a method of electrophotography comprising the steps of applying a first electric field across a photosensitive element including a photoconductive layer manifesting persisting internal polarization and a highly insulative layer integrally bonded to one side of the photoconductive layer for depositing a charge of one polarity on the surface of the highly insulative layer, and applying a second electric field across the photosensitive element for depositing a charge of the opposite polarity concurrently with projection of a light image upon the photoconductive layer whereby to form a latent image on the surface of the highly insulative layer corresponding to the light image, a third electric field is applied across the photosensitive element for depositing a charge of the same polarity as the charge deposited by the second electric field for improving the contrast and then the latent image is developed to provide a visible image.
