Abstract: A transfer swivel connector assembly for connecting two insulated fluid conduits which provides an evacuated space around the conduit connection within the swivel assembly to form a highly efficient insulating layer and incorporates bearing means to allow virtually friction-free rotational movement of the two conduits relative to each other about a desired axis. The swivel assembly further provides dynamic secondary sealing means to prevent the escape of fluid from the connector should the primary transfer passage connection develop a leak.
