Abstract: In a main flow passage, a first heat exchanger, a first heat storage unit, a second heat exchanger, and a second heat storage unit are connected by a heating medium flow passage. The main flow passage allows a heating medium to be circulated. A sub flow passage includes a shortened flow passage which is a part of the heating medium flow passage and branches from the heating medium flow passage between the second heat exchanger and the second heat storage unit and extends to the first heat storage unit. The sub flow passage allows circulation of the heating medium between the first heat storage unit and the second heat exchanger. A first heating means in a middle of the shortened flow passage, the first heating means heating a passing heat medium, and a switching means conducting switching between the main flow passage and the sub flow passage are provided.

Abstract: A compressed air storage power generation apparatus is provided with a motor, a compressor, a pressure accumulation tank, an expander, a generator, a first heat exchanger and a cold heat extracting unit. The motor is driven by input power generated using renewable energy. The compressor is mechanically connected to the motor and compresses air. The pressure accumulation tank accumulates the compressed air compressed by the compressor. The expander is driven by the compressed air supplied from the pressure accumulation tank. The generator is mechanically connected to the expander. The first heat exchanger exchanges heat between the compressed air supplied from the compressor and a heat medium and cools the compressed air to room temperature. The cold heat extracting unit extracts air serving as working fluid as cold air of the room temperature or lower. Due to this configuration, the compressed air energy storage power generation apparatus capable of smoothing input power that varies irregularly and efficiently performing heating and cooling with the input power is provided.

Abstract: A CAES generator includes a plurality of motors, a plurality of compressors, a pressure accumulator, an expander, a generator, an electric-motor inverter that changes a rotation speed of each of the motors, a feed command receiver that receives input power as a feed command value before feeding the input power, and a controller. The controller includes a compressor number calculation unit that calculates a maximum number of motors that are allowed to be driven at a rating based on the feed command value, and a compressor drive control unit that drives at the rating, the motors, the number of which is the maximum number calculated by the compressor number calculation unit.

Abstract: A cold-heat power generation device includes a thermal power generation device, a CAES power generation device, and an output merging part. A facility includes an LNG vaporizer, a motive power part that burns natural gas vaporized by the LNG vaporizer to convert the natural gas into motive power, and a primary generator that is driven by the motive power part. A facility includes an air compressor that compresses air cooled by the LNG vaporizer, an air tank that stores compressed air discharged from the air compressor, air heaters that heat the compressed air supplied from the air tank with heat generated when the natural gas is burned in the motive power part, an air expander that expands the compressed air heated by the air heaters, and a secondary generator that is driven by the air expander. At the output merging part, output of the primary generator and output of the secondary generator are merged with each other.

Abstract: A compressed air energy storage power generation device equipped with: a compressor mechanically connected to a motor; a first pressure storage tank storing compressed air from the compressor; an expansion device driven by compressed air from the tank; a generator mechanically connected to the expansion device; a first heat exchanger that exchanges heat between a heat medium and the compressed air supplied from the compressor to the tank; a second heat exchanger that exchanges heat between the heat medium and the compressed air supplied from the tank to the expansion device; a pressure sensor that detects the state of charge (SOC) of the tank; SOC adjustment units that adjusts the SOC; and a control device. The control device controls the SOC adjustment units such that the detected SOC is within an optimal SOC range while satisfying the requested power. Thus, in this compressed air energy storage power generation device the SOC is controlled so as to be within an optimal SOC range, so the operating efficiency can be improved.
