    Abstract: An arrangement includes two bracket parts, each bracket part includes a vertical branch and a horizontal branch attached by two fastening points. Each fastening point includes a longitudinal opening in each horizontal branch and a first fastening member passing vertically through the two longitudinal openings into a nest supported on a horizontal branch. A second fastening member extends horizontally into the nest and is operatively connected within the nest to the first fastening member via a power transmission. Rotation of the second fastening member generates a pressure joint between the two horizontal branches in the fastening point.

    Abstract: The apparatus includes a positioning unit and an alignment unit. The positioning unit extends across the elevator shaft in a second direction and comprises at each end a first attachment mechanism movable in the second direction for supporting the positioning unit on opposite wall structures in the elevator shaft. The alignment unit extends across the elevator shaft in the second direction and is supported with support parts on each end portion of the positioning unit. Each end portion of the alignment unit is individually movable in relation to the positioning unit in a third direction perpendicular to the second direction. The alignment unit includes further at each end a second attachment mechanism movable in the second direction for supporting the alignment unit on opposite guide rails in the shaft. The second attachment mechanism includes a gripper for gripping on the guide rail.

    Abstract: The method comprises installing a lowermost first section of guide rail elements, arranging a movable transport apparatus and a movable transport platform in the shaft, connecting a guide rail element provided with a jointing clamp at each end of the guide rail element to the transport apparatus, moving the transport apparatus with the guide rail element upwards, connecting the guide rail element to an upper end of a row of already installed guide rail elements with a plug-in joint provided by jointing clamps, attaching the guide rail element to a wall of the shaft from the transport platform, moving the transport apparatus downwards in order to fetch a new guide rail element.
