    Abstract: Provided is a medical diagnostic device communicating with an image display device which displays a medical image and an image management device which manages image data of the medical image, said medical diagnostic device comprising an input unit which accepts an operation input from an operator, and a control unit which, according to a save instruction signal which is generated on the basis of the operation input, transmits to the image management device the image data of the medical image together with identification information and causes the image management device to store the image data in association with the identification information, and transmits to the image display device the identification information and a display instruction signal for causing the image display device to display the image data and causes the image display device to acquire the image data from the image management device.
