Abstract: The present invention relates to an automatic light intensity control device for vehicle rear lamps in response to changes in visibility distance and its control method. To this end, the automatic light intensity control device for vehicle rear lamps of the present invention comprises: a visibility distance measurement unit that is mounted on a driving vehicle or installed in the vicinity of a driving road to measure a visibility distance of the road in real time; and a light intensity calculation and control unit that is mounted on the driving vehicle to calculate an appropriate light intensity using visibility distance information measured by the visibility distance measurement unit and then control the light intensity of rear lamps in real time.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a spectrum-expanded road electric sign, a road electric sign control system, and a traffic information acquisition device using the same. To this end, the spectrum-expanded road electric sign of the present invention comprises: a housing provided with a substrate therein; a visible LED array including a plurality of visible LEDs repeatedly arranged on a substrate to allow various types of traffic information to be visually recognized by a driver; and an infrared LED array including a plurality of infrared LEDs repeatedly arranged adjacent to the respective visible LEDs. As a result, even in the case where the driver's visibility is not sufficiently guaranteed due to adverse weather conditions, infrared light in the non-visible light range is also emitted, making it possible to capture an infrared video by capturing infrared images.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a smart road marking construction method, a smart road marking, and an autonomous driving system using the same. To this end, the smart road marking construction method according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a step (S10) of preparing a road marking composition by mixing a paint and a hardener; a step (S20) of forming a base layer 10 by applying the road marking composition to an upper surface of a road 1; a step (S30) of forming a bead layer 20 by applying glass beads 21 containing magnetic materials (M) to an upper surface of the base layer 10; and a step (S40) of allowing the resulting bead layer to be cured for a certain period of time. As a result, the lane recognition rate of autonomous vehicles by means of radar sensors can be improved, thereby addressing the limitations of conventional vision-based road markings.
