Abstract:
The present invention relates to a pulse depth index extraction device and method using pressure at a constant velocity. A device comprises: a pressure applying unit for applying a pressure at a constant velocity to a confirmed pulse location in a direction perpendicular to the skin; a pressure pulse wave signal measuring unit for measuring a pressure pulse wave signal generated based on the applied pressure; and a measured signal analysis unit for deriving the pulse depth index (PDI) by using the measured pressure pulse wave signal.
Abstract:
A method for determining a sharpness index of a pulse wave signal includes receiving a pulse wave signal; determining a first reference line starting point and a second reference line starting point on the basis of a curvature of the pulse wave signal; determining a first reference line connecting the first reference line starting point and a first reference line ending point by determining the first reference line ending point by applying an intersecting tangent method to the first reference line starting point, and determining a second reference line connecting the second reference line starting point and a second reference line ending point by determining the second reference line ending point by applying the intersecting tangent method to the second reference line starting point; and determining a sharpness index by using a peak point of the pulse wave signal, the first reference line, and the second reference line.

Abstract:
Disclosed are a pressing method and a pressing apparatus for measuring pressure pulse waves by continuously pressing, with a constant velocity, an object such as the human body by using a pressing tool, and then identifying a point when the amplitude of the pressure pulse wave being measured changes from increasing to decreasing, to accurately recognize a pressure reducing control point for the pressing tool so that the amplitude of the pressure pulse wave is retained at an appropriate level while measuring. The pressing method comprises the steps of: measuring a pressure pulse wave from an object; determining a pressure reducing point when the amplitude of the pressure pulse wave that is measured changes from increasing to decreasing, while pressure is applied to the object by the pressing tool; and controlling the pressing tool so that pressure applied to the object is decreased after the pressure decreasing point.
