Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a magnetic field-based jamming mechanism with variable stiffness and shape adaptation functionalities that can adapt to various characteristics (shape, softness, etc.) of the external environment, and can easily grip objects having various shapes since it grips objects using changes in the stiffness of soft magnetic particles.
