Disclosed is a method for designing a packaging plant, wherein a measuring vehicle is moved within an area in which the production plant is to be erected or modified, and a position of the measuring vehicle relative to the area is detected. The measuring vehicle is positioned at a plurality of positions within this area and at this position records respective images and/or data of the area with a first image capturing device, wherein at least one geometric property of the area and/or the packaging plant is detected.

Disclosed is a rotary table machine for container treatment, comprising a carousel with container receptacles for conveying containers, wherein the container receptacles are arranged at a regular spacing along a circular path about an axis of rotation of the carousel by means of a machine pitch, characterized in that the carousel and a rotary transducer are connected via a transmission such that, when the carousel rotates about a machine pitch, the rotary transducer emits and/or processes a whole-number multiple of a periodic value increment as a position signal, a signal transmitter is designed to detect a reference mark on the carousel and for emitting a reference mark signal on the basis thereof, and a signal processing device is designed to process the position signal and the reference mark signal in order to regulate the position of the carousel and to control the container receptacles.

The present disclosure provides a glue supply device for a labeling unit with a glue printer, comprising: a storage tank for glue, a supply line for supplying glue from the storage tank to the glue printer, a continuously delivering glue pump which is embodied to deliver glue from the storage tank into the supply line, and a hydropneumatic reservoir for the glue, wherein the hydro-pneumatic reservoir is arranged at the supply line upstream of the glue printer.

The present disclosure relates generally to a labeler for labeling objects, in particular containers in the food industry. The labeler may have at least one label magazine for providing labels having a fixing side that is activatable by moistening, and at least one palletizing unit including at least one pallet for taking up and transferring individual labels, and at least one activating unit for activating, by moistening, the activatable fixing side of a label that has been taken up by a pallet. The labeler may be configured for directly transferring labels from the pallet of the palletizing unit to an object to be labeled.
