摘要： A system for producing a reference value for a desired value of an independent variable of a nonlinear function for which, in the range of interest, the dependent variable varies regularly and unidirectionally with variations of the independent variable in a given direction, according to a known function, the reference value being produced by simultaneously determining the values of the dependent variable for successive pairs of independent variable values which differ by a selected amount, while varying the independent variable, and producing an indication of one of the independent variable values of that pair at which a given ratio exists between the dependent variable values, this ratio corresponding to a predetermined independent variable difference between such one independent variable value and the desired value.
