Abstract: A policy-based system is implemented to allow access to a private domain to print using a public domain. The private domain includes private servers that store documents. The public domain includes servers and a printing device. A public policy server uses a domain list and a protocol connection with a private authentication server to validate a user and identify which private domain to access. The public policy server receives requests from the printing device to process a print job of a document in the private domain. The policy-based system also determines whether printing operations for a document are allowed for a public print service using remaining credit values and the policy.

Abstract: A method includes retrieving a plurality of document specifications and generating training set data based on the plurality of document specifications. The method includes running a classification engine to cause the classification engine to perform a first set of operations. The first set of operations includes generating a classification model using the training set data, determining one or more classification labels for a particular document and a corresponding confidence value for each classification label, and generating a classification report for the particular document. The method includes running a verification engine to cause the verification engine to perform a second set of operations. The second set of operations include requesting third-party review of the classification report, assigning a particular classification label to the particular document, and transmitting the particular document and the particular classification label as feedback. The method includes updating the training set data based on the feedback.

Abstract: A method to diagnosis an electro-mechanical part on an image forming device comprises: determining an incident count for a first time interval for the electro-mechanical part; determining if the incident count for the first time interval exceeds a first threshold level; marking the incident count as a high rate if the incident count exceeds the first threshold level; marking the incident count as a low rate if the incident count is more than 0 but equal to or less than the first threshold level; marking the incident count as a zero rate if the incident count is equal to 0; monitoring the electro-mechanical part for a second time interval, wherein the second time interval is a plurality of first time intervals; cumulating a number of first time intervals with the low rate during the second time intervals; and marking the electro-mechanical part as needing to be one of repaired or serviced when the number of first time intervals with the low rate during the second time intervals exceeds a second threshold level.

Abstract: A method to diagnosis an electro-mechanical part on an image forming device comprising: determining an incident count for a first time interval for the electro-mechanical part; determining a first threshold level for the first time interval; monitoring the electro-mechanical part for a second time interval, wherein the second time interval is a plurality of first time intervals; determining if the incident count for a first portion of the second time interval for the electro-mechanical part equal to or less than the first threshold; determining if the incident count for a second portion of the second time interval for the electro-mechanical part is equal to or less than the first threshold when the incident count for the first portion of the second time interval fails to exceed the first threshold for the electro-mechanical part; determining a maximum incident count for the second portion of the second time interval when the incident count for the second portion of the second time interval exceeds the first threshold for the electro-mechanical part; calculating an error ratio between an average incident count of the first portion of the second time interval and the maximum incident count of the second portion of the second time interval; and marking the electro-mechanical part as needing to be one of repaired or serviced when the error ratio exceeds an error ratio threshold level.
