The information processing device includes: a display part; an operational input part; an MFP selection part for presenting to an administrator a list of MFP candidates for activation of an optional function and then accepting a selection of the MFP via the operational input part; an optional function selection part for presenting to the administrator a list of optional function candidates to be activated on the selected MFP and then accepting a selection of the optional function via the operational input part; a license key acquisition part for acquiring a license key for activation of the selected optional function; and an optional function activation part for issuing to the selected MFP an instruction for activating the selected optional function on the selected MFP.
Abstract:
An information processing apparatus includes: an operation input device; a drawing command reception circuit that receives, based on an instruction to execute a printing job, a drawing command from an application program, and converts it into an intermediate code to output it; an intermediate code storage that stores the output intermediate code; a layout determination circuit that takes out the intermediate code from the storage and corrects it by rearranging it; and a PDL generation circuit that converts the corrected intermediate code into a PDL and outputs the PDL. The layout determination circuit keeps, when there is an instruction to accumulate the printing job, the intermediate code of the printing job in the storage, and takes out, when there is an instruction to not accumulate the printing job, the intermediate code from the storage and corrects it by rearranging it based on an instruction.
Abstract:
Provided is a non-transitory storage medium storing a printer driver and a printing method, which enable to improve print quality even if an original is extremely reduced for printing. A computer, which executes the printer driver to be used by application software for generating a print script to be printed by an MFP from the original in accordance with ability of the MFP, obtains a scale factor on the basis of a size of a recording medium to be printed by the MFP and a size of the original (S133), multiplying the scale factor obtained in S133 by an actual print resolution of the MFP so as to obtain a resolution to reply (S134), and reply the resolution to reply obtained in S134 to the application software in response to an inquiry about the ability from the application software (S135).
