    Abstract: Systems and methods relating generally to restriction of printing are disclosed. In one such method, a print job is received by a printing device. The printing device initiates a check for locality of a user device with respect to the printing device in response to receipt of the print job. The printing device accesses a local interface thereof. The printing device attempts to establish communication with the user device via the local interface. The user device can be determined to not be found via the local interface. The printing by the user device on the printing device is restricted responsive to the user device being not found via the local interface.

    Abstract: Systems and methods relate generally to aero-based printing. In an example thereof, obtained are unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) having a first UAV attached to a guide rail and a second UAV attached to an insert or a carriage guide (“guide”). The guide is configured for coupling into or onto the guide rail for slidable movement with a printhead assembly attached to the guide for movement therewith. The printhead assembly includes at least one colorant material holder. In-flight movement of the guide rail is controlled via the first UAV to a print target. In-flight movement of the second UAV is controlled for engagement of the guide into or onto the guide rail. The second UAV communicates to the printhead assembly for controlled printing responsive in part to movement of the guide by the second UAV relative to the guide rail.

The hot folder is configured to push a print job entry for the driverless printing for the time expired files. The hiding includes: renaming a first data file name to a second data file name; marking the second data file name as processing in association with operation of the hot folder; mapping a relationship between the first data file name and the second data file name; renaming a first reference file name to a second reference file name; marking the second reference file name as processing in association with operation of the hot folder; and mapping a relationship between the first reference file name and the second reference file name. The print job entry is created for the print job and is pushed for the time expired files.

    Abstract: Printer sharing is disclosed. In a method thereof, printers, including corresponding network addresses, are identified for peer-to-peer print services. Prices are obtained for the peer-to-peer print services associated with the printers. A website- or app-accessible platform (“platform”) is provided for coordinating availability and pricing for the peer-to-peer print services of the printers. A user interface is provided to select a printer of the printers at a price of the prices. A print job is forwarded from the platform to the selected printer of the printers. A first printing device can receive a print job with a first portion associated with first printing characteristics and a second portion associated with second printing characteristics, where the first and second printing characteristics can differ.     Abstract: Systems and methods relate generally to printing. In a method, a data file for a print job is dropped into a hot folder. The hot folder is monitored for the dropping. Responsive to detection of the dropping, a syncing of a mirrored folder to the hot folder is triggered to create a mirrored file of the data file. Responsive to expiration of the data file in the hot folder, the syncing is stopped; an internal folder is created in a temporary file system; the mirrored folder is accessed for the mirrored file; the mirrored file is moved from the mirrored folder to the internal folder; and the data file in the hot folder is deleted.
