    摘要: A method of processing seismic data comprises transforming seismic data which contain coherent noise to a domain in which at least some of the coherent noise is transformed to incoherent noise. The seismic data are then filtered in the new domain, to remove or attenuate the incoherent noise. If desired, the filtered data may subsequently be transformed back to the domain in which the data were acquired. The filtering process may be carried out using a multichannel interference canceller. A seismic data trace to be filtered is input to the principal channel of the interference canceller, and one or more other seismic data traces are input to the interference canceller as reference traces. Use of seismic data traces as the reference trace(s) avoids the need to determine a noise reference trace.

In one aspect of the instant invention, an apparatus is provided for acoustic ranging by application of linear period modulated sound. The apparatus includes at least one source adapted to generate at least one modulated Doppler invariant signal and at least one receiver deployed along a seismic sensing cable, wherein the receiver is adapted to receive at least one modulated Doppler invariant signal from the at least one source. The apparatus further includes a signal processing unit adapted to determine the propagation time delay between the source and the receiver using the modulated Doppler invariant signal and the received Doppler invariant signal.

    摘要: An embodiment according to one or more aspects of the present disclosure for conducting a marine survey includes a survey spread comprising a plurality of receivers and an energy source that is towed along a selected course while a signal is emitted from an energy source. A plurality of receivers receive data comprising a detection sampling frequency and a survey sampling frequency. The survey sampling frequency is monitored to detect a cetacean vocalization and to position the cetacean at least while conducting the seismic survey. Pursuant to the location of the cetacean actions can be taken to protect the cetacean and to minimize disruptions in conducting the seismic survey.

A filter is then derived from the output of the calculus operation and the response of the other of the hydrophone and the accelerometer. The filter may then be used to match seismic data acquired by the one of the hydrophone and the accelerometer to seismic data acquired by the other of the hydrophone and the accelerometer. The calculus operation may comprise differentiating the hydrophone response, or integrating the accelerometer impulse response.
