    摘要: In a heat developable color photographic recording material containing, in a common layer of binder, a light-sensitive silver halide, optionally combined with a substantially light-sensitive silver salt, and a non-diffusible dye releasing compound, the binder of the said layer consists to an extent of at least 30% by weight of a polyurethane containing anionic groups. The recording material has a considerably increased sensitivity combined with improved D.sub.min /D.sub.max relationship.

    摘要: The heat development process using an integral color photographic recording material carrying, on a preferably transparent layer support, both an image receptor layer and light-sensitive layers of binder with silver halide and associated dye releasing compounds, optionally with a light-reflecting layer of pigment between the image receptor layer and the light-sensitive layers, may be carried out as a one-step development process in which silver halide development and color transfer take place at the same time if an auxiliary sheet containing a thermal development and diffusion promoting substance in a layer of binder is used. The thermal development and diffusion promoting agent is preferably liquid under normal conditions and dispersed in a microencapsulated form in the layer of binder.

    摘要: Proteins such as enzymes are attached directly to a polyamide or cellulose hydrate carrier. Attachment can be carried out by impregnation of the carrier with a protein solution. The carrier can be in the form of a membrane, and the polyamide can be nylon. Resulting carrier-bound proteins find utility as biocatalyst, as test strips or as chromatography materials. In a preferred embodiment, a polyamide or cellulose hydrate membrane carrier is impregnated with an enzyme selected from peroxidase, glucose oxidase, diaphorase and glucose dehydrogenase and then dried, coated with a luminol solution and again dried. The resultant membrane can be used for glucose determination by measuring chemiluminescence produced when the membrane contacts a glucose solution.

The color developers contain a grouping capable of metal chelate formation adjacent to the primary amino group. The azomethine dyes are transferred into the corresponding azomethine dye/metal complexes. The complex formation is accompanied by shift of color hue and increase of light stability.

    摘要: The invention relates to a process for the production of photographic emulsates consisting of dispersions of water-immiscible or water-insoluble particles in aqueous binder solution, characterized in that the entire non-aqueous phase is initially introduced at a temperature above the liquefaction temperatures of the aqueous and non-aqueous phases, after which a relatively small volume of aqueous phase is emulsified continuously or in portions into the non-aqueous phase by known methods and then more aqueous phase is introduced while emulsification is continued in such a quantity that the viscosity of the emulsion passes through a maximum (indicating phase reversal into an emulsion of non-aqueous particles in aqueous dispersion medium (FIG. 1)).
