摘要: In an internal combustion engine equipped with an exhaust gas recirculation control system including an exhaust gas recirculation passage connected to an exhaust pipe and an intake pipe of the engine and an exhaust gas recirculation control valve disposed in the exhaust gas recirculation passage for selectively closing and opening the exhaust gas recirculation passage, a method and an apparatus for diagnosing the exhaust gas recirculation system as to occurrence of an abnormality on the basis of a change in pressure or air flow rate within the intake pipe which is brought about by actuation of the exhaust gas recirculation control valve. By actuating the exhaust gas recirculation control valve in a diagnosis enabling operation state of the engine, it is determined whether the change in the pressure or air flow rate reaches a preset value within a predetermined time. Occurrence of an abnormality in the exhaust gas recirculation system is decided unless the change reaches the preset value within the predetermined time.

摘要: A cylinder identification apparatus for an internal combustion engine is able to inhibit erroneous operations caused by noise. The cylinder identification apparatus includes a crank angle sensor for detecting a rotational position of a crankshaft of the internal combustion engine having a plurality of cylinders, a cylinder identifier for identifying the respective cylinders based on a signal output from the crank angle sensor, an engine controller for controlling the internal combustion engine based on the result of cylinder identification carried out by the cylinder identifier, and a noise determiner for determining, before operational processing is implemented based on a particular angle signal, whether the particular angle signal among output signals from the crank angle sensor includes noise so that it inhibits subsequent operation processing if there is noise included in the particular angle signal. When the noise determiner receives a present particular angle signal, it effects noise determination on all angle signals from the last particular angle signal to the present particular angle signal at the same time, and it also compares the present angle signal cycle with the last normal angle signal cycle whenever it effects noise determination.

摘要: A cylinder identifying apparatus comprising a crank angle sensor 20 detecting a crank angle of a combustion engine 14 having a plurality of cylinders, a cylinder identifying means 31 identifying a cylinder to be controlled by an output signal from the crank angle sensor 20, a cranking judging means 34 detecting a cranking state of the combustion engine 14, and an erroneous cylinder identification preventing means 32 detecting starting of cranking of the combustion engine 14 by an output from the cranking judging means, and circumventing the cylinder identification by the cylinder identifying means 31 until a predetermined time passes after starting the cranking, whereby the cylinder to be controlled is securely identified at time of cranking, and erroneous detection, erroneous control, and detection delay are prevented.

摘要: This specification discloses a flame retardant vegetable fiber material and the process for the production of the same. The adopted means is to immerse the vegetable fiber into a firstly prepared inorganic solution and also into a secondary prepared inorganic solution in turn, while both solutions come into the inherent gaps of the said fiber and become an insoluable and incombustible inorganic compound therewith. The mutual contact and reaction caused by the first and second solutions generate a setting dip and fixation thereupon.
