    摘要: An autotensioner having a fixed shaft, a pulley support pivotally supported on the fixed shaft, a pulley rotatably supported on the pulley support and a spring for biasing the pulley support in such a direction as to apply tension to a belt. The pulley support has a cylindrical portion arranged coaxially with the fixed shaft. The fixed shaft is formed with cam surfaces at such a position that wedge-shaped spaces are defined between the cam surfaces and the cylindrical portion. The wedge-shaped spaces narrow in a direction in which the pulley support pivots to slacken the belt. Friction members are each mounted in the respective wedge-shaped spaces. They have a shape substantially complementary to the shape of the wedge-shaped spaces. A spring member is also mounted in each wedge-shaped space to bias the friction members into the narrow area of each wedge-shaped space.

    摘要: A belt autotensioner capable of adjusting the fluctuating belt tension smoothly and free of shaking motion of the belt and delay in action. A tension adjusting spring is coupled to an eccentrically pivotable pulley support member. A damper for damping the pivoting speed of the support member is provided between the support member and the fixed member. The fixed member is provided with a cam surface abutting a piston of the damper. The cam surface is tapered downwards in a direction in which the support member pivots in a direction to increase the belt tension.

    摘要: An auto-tensioner for a belt has a cylindrical body having a bottom. A nut formed with female threads on its inner periphery and having a rod integrally formed at one end is slidably mounted in the body. A bolt is mounted in the body so that its male threads will engage the female threads on the nut. A belt loading spring is mounted between the nut and the bottom of the body to urge the nut in such a direction as to increase the tension to the belt. A bolt turning spring is mounted between the nut and the bolt to urge and turn the bolt in such a direction as to be pressed against the bottom of the body or in a direction away from the nut. Thus the nut and the bolt are moved either toward or away from each other according to the load from the belt which acts on the rod so as to automatically adjust the tension to the belt.

    摘要: A spring clutch is provided for which durability is improved by preventing a clutch spring from breaking due to fatigue. A cylindrical clutch spring made from a wire having a square section is mounted between a pulley and a pulley hub mounted in the pulley. An end of the clutch spring is coupled to the pulley hub. A clutch surface is formed on the inner periphery of the pulley and is formed with a large-diameter recess at a position opposite to the end portion of the clutch spring including the torque transmission end. When the pulley rotates in one direction, the clutch spring expands. At this time, the end portion of the clutch spring including the torque transmission end expands in the large-diameter recess, thus relaxing sharp torque produced in the clutch. This prevents local stress concentration on the clutch spring and breakage of the clutch spring and improves the durability of the clutch.

    摘要: An outer ring for a vibration proof homokinetic joint has inner and outer casings. Vibration proof members made of an elastic material are disposed between the inner and outer casings. The outer casing is formed on an inner peripheral surface thereof with protrusions angularly spaced therebetween. The inner casing is formed on an outer peripheral surface thereof with grooves angularly spaced therebetween to receive the protrusions therein with predetermined gaps formed therebetween and extending in the direction of rotation of the joint. The vibration proof members are mounted between the adjacent protrusions and between the inner peripheral surface of the outer casing and the outer peripheral surface of the inner casing.

The coil spring is adapted to engage the sheave engagement sleeve upon the acceleration of the sheave member in a first rotational direction relative to the hub member, and to disengage the sheave engagement sleeve upon the deceleration of the sheave member in the first rotational direction relative to the hub member.
