    摘要: Air intake manifolds (32) for vehicle engines (50) may include a plate-shaped short runner valve (16) that is rotatably disposed within an aperture (19) of a wall partition (42). The valve (16) may be operated to open and close the aperture. A flange (22) may extend from an inner surface of the aperture and the flange may define a sealing face (22b). An elastic sealing member (21) may be disposed along a peripheral edge of the valve. The sealing member may include first and second projections (21a, 21b) extending from the peripheral edge of the valve. The first and second projections may be arranged in a substantially V-shape. Further, the terminal ends of the first and second projections are preferably disposed so as to closely contact the sealing face when the valve is rotated to the closed position.

    摘要: The butterfly valve of the invention is provided with a valve shaft to which a valve body is mounted, and a pair of slide bearings which rotatably support both ends of the valve shaft. Inner peripheral surfaces of the slide bearings being in contact with the valve shaft are formed in a convex curved surface protruding to an inner peripheral side, and the inner peripheral surfaces of the slide bearings are formed in a circular arc shape in cross section along an axial direction. The inner peripheral surfaces in the slide bearings in both sides being in contact with the valve shaft are formed in a convex curved shape protruding to the inner peripheral side, and the inner peripheral surfaces of the slide bearings are formed in a circular arc shape in cross section along the axial direction. Accordingly, the inner peripheral surfaces of the bearings are in contact with the outer peripheral surface of the valve shaft in a substantially line contact manner. Therefore, even in the case that the valve holder to which both of the slide bearings are mounted are deformed at a time of being manufactured and a displacement is generated at an axial position of the slide bearings at both ends, it is possible to well fit the valve shaft to both of the slide bearings because the bearings in both ends serve to absorb the displacement in the axis.

    摘要: There is provided a laser operation apparatus capable of emitting suitable laser light having a uniformed light intensity distribution. A fiber vibrating device is fit to a portion of an optical fiber that guides laser light oscillated (for treatment) by a treatment laser light source to a slit lamp. The fiber vibrating device itself is vibrated by rotating a weight provided eccentric about a rotational shaft by a motor, thereby vibrating the optical fiber in a direction substantially orthogonal to an axial line direction thereof. When the optical fiber is vibrated by the fiber vibrating device, the laser light guided through the optical fiber is mixed to uniform the light intensity distribution of the laser light. The laser light having the uniformed light intensity distribution is emitted to an eye to be operated by the slit lamp.
