摘要： A toner having an amorphous resin, a crystalline resin, and a colorant, wherein the crystalline resin has a melting temperature of at least 70° C. and a recrystallization point of at least 47° C. exhibits improved document offset properties and improved heat cohesion. Annealing the toner further improves the heat cohesion and morphology of the toner.

摘要： Disclosed is a polyester resin comprising the polycondensation product of (a) at least one diacid, acid ester, or diester; and (b) at least one diol; wherein either (i) at least one diacid, acid ester, or diester comprises a rosin diacid, rosin acid ester, or rosin diester; or (ii) at least one diol comprises a rosin diol. Also disclosed is a toner composition comprising particles which comprise the disclosed polyester resin and an optional colorant.

摘要： A toner includes binder of amorphous polymer material, such as an amorphous polyester material, and a crystalline polymer material, such as a crystalline polyester material, wherein the amorphous polymer material has an acid number that is greater than an acid number of the crystalline polymer material. Further, the toner may have a minimum fusing temperature of from about 75° C. to about 150° C. and a relative humidity sensitivity of from about 0.5 to about 10. A method of making toner particles is also indicated.

摘要： Processes for producing emulsion aggregation toners are provided. In embodiments, methods of the present disclosure may be utilized to produce toners suitable for low melt applications, including use in flexible packaging applications, where low pile height is desired for low cost and flexibility. In embodiments, the EA toners may include small particles having a shell with a high amount of resin, which optimizes the charging characteristics of the toner.
