    摘要: There is provided an optical pickup apparatus whereby the phase of a grating can be adjusted sufficiently even while further reducing the number of parts. A plate spring portion 12b formed in a bent manner is provided in the front part of a cover 12. The plate spring portion is composed of an annular plate-like portion 12ba having an outside diameter approximately the same as the diameter of a grating 3 and formed with a through hole “h” for passage of laser beams through the center axis and a connecting portion 12bb for connecting the edge portion of the plate-like portion 12ba and the front end of the cover 12. Therefore, the connecting portion 12bb is to be deformed elastically by loading in the axial direction with respect to the plate-like portion 12ba to serve as a so-called plate spring. As for the plate spring portion 12b, the connecting portion 12bb is deformed elastically and the plate-like portion 12ba is in contact with the grating 3, whereby the elastic force of the connecting portion 12bb is applied to the grating 3 in the axial direction.

    摘要: A fitting structure for fitting a laser holder holding a semiconductor laser to a base member in an optical pickup device includes a support member of a metal plate that supports the laser holder. The support member integrally has: a base part having a laser passage hole that is formed in the center thereof for permitting laser light from the semiconductor laser to pass therethrough; an upper projecting part and a lower projecting part that respectively project from the upper and the lower edges of the base part so as to oppose each other and that support the laser holder so that the laser holder can swing about the vertical axis; and a bending part that is elastically deformable and that first projects from the upper edge of the base part toward a side opposite to a side toward which the upper projecting part projects and then is bent downward and also inward toward the base part. The base part is inserted from the lower projecting part along the plate-like fitting part of the base member, whereby the plate-like fitting part becomes sandwiched between the bending part and the base part by an elastic restoring force of the bending part, and then, after optical axis adjustment of the semiconductor laser, the laser holder, the support member, and the base member are fixed to one another with an adhesive.

    摘要: There is provided an optical pickup apparatus in which the assembling workability such as chucking of an LD holder by an adjusting jig and spreading of adhesive can be improved. In the optical pickup apparatus, multiple fitting portions (boss portions) 1d formed on one of a side wall surface 1a of a slide base 1 and an LD holder 10 are fitted loosely into respective multiple fitted portions (hole portions) 10b formed in the other one so that an adjustment space 12 required for adjustment of a laser diode 6 is ensured between each fitting portion and fitted portion. This allows the LD holder 10 to be fixed temporarily to the side wall surface 1a of the slide base 1 with the laser diode 6 being adjustable freely, resulting in an improvement in the assembling workability such as chucking of the holder by the adjusting jig and spreading of adhesive.

The space between the solder lands 61 and 62 on the respective pieces 71 and 72 is made equal to the space between the two spaced-apart solder lands 21 and 22 on the counterpart substrate 1 by placing the pieces 71 and 72 formed by dividing the flexible substrate 5 on one another.

    摘要: A tray drive mechanism has a simple structure, and yet both an optical disc clamping operation and a tray opening and closing operation can be driven by one feed motor.The tray drive mechanism comprises: a feed gear and a tray drive gear that are rotated by a feed motor; a rack member to mesh with the feed gear so as to be driven in direction to inner circumference of the optical disc; a plate trigger driven by the rack member so as to slide; and a cam slider to slide in linkage with the plate trigger. When the cam slider is slided in linkage with plate trigger so as to be driven in direction by the tray drive gear meshing with a rack, a boss of the cam slider pushes a slope portion of each of cam grooves and provided in a tray, so that the tray slides to cause a rack of the tray to mesh with the tray drive gear. Thus, the tray is opened and closed by the feed motor.

The rotating side includes a tapered distal end section, and a contact section provided in an end section on a side opposite the distal end section and adapted to be contacted by an adjustment jig. The non-rotating side includes a recessed section for engaging the distal end section. The adjustment jig contacting the contact section is moved, whereby the rotating side rotates, the distal end section engaged in the recessed section being used as a fulcrum, and the optical element is rotationally adjusted.

The travel of the optical pickup is adapted to be guided by the main shaft, where a secondary bearing part 3 adapted to slide relative to the secondary shaft 102 includes an overlapping sliding face 32 and an auxiliary overlapping face 36, and a clearance δ is formed between the auxiliary overlapping face 36 and the secondary shaft 102 to improve ease of assembly. A control element 41 is mounted on a printed circuit board 4 mounted on a base member 1, and the control element is overlapped with a radiator plate 5. The radiator plate 5 is provided with a pressing piece 54, and the pressing piece 54 is brought into elastic contact with the secondary shaft 102 to reliably bring the overlapping sliding face 32 into elastic contact with the secondary shaft 102.
