摘要: A front wall (50) is movable between a full locking position and a partial locking position on the front of a female housing (10). When the front wall (50) is at the full locking position, mating tabs (70) can enter main portions (41) of the female terminal fittings (40) through tab insertion holes (51) of the front wall (50) for contacting resilient contacts (45) and an unlocking jig can be inserted into a mold-removal hole (14) of the female housing (10) through a jig insertion hole (52) of the front wall (50) to disengage a lock (12). When the front wall (50) is at the partial locking position, detection probes (60) can be inserted into the jig insertion holes (52) of the front wall (50) for contacting detecting plates (46) offset from resilient contacts (45) in main portions of the female terminal fittings (40).

摘要: A terminal fitting (T) has a rectangular tube (10). A resilient locking piece (25) is accommodated in a rectangular tube portion (10) and a locking hole (19) in the tube (10) exposes the resilient locking piece (25). A side plate (13R) of the rectangular tube (10) is provided with an intrusion restricting portion (21) near the resilient contact piece (25) and in an opening area of the locking hole (19). Thus, the intrusion of an external matter through the locking hole (19) can be restricted by the intrusion restricting portion (21), thereby preventing the interference of the external matter with the resilient contact piece (25).

摘要: A connector is provided with a highly reliable lock arm. The connector includes a slider (20) formed to move between a displacement permitting position to a forcible displacement position. The slider (20) and a lock arm (17) are provided with pushing portions (24) and a pushable portion (18), respectively. When the slider (20) is moved from the displacement permitting position to the forcible displacement position with connector housings (10, 40) fitted with each other, slanted surfaces (24A) of the pushing portions (24) push a slanted surface (18A) of the pushable portion (18) to forcibly displace the lock arm (17) to an unlocking position. Since it is not necessary to provide a locking portion of the lock arm (17) and the female connector housing (40) with an unlocking function, reliability of a locking function by the lock (17) can be improved.

摘要: A lever type connector of the present invention includes a connector housing, a cover, a lever rotatably mounted on the connector housing, and a snap tab mounted on the cover. During rotation of the lever from an unlocking position to a locking position, the snap tab is pressed by the lever and bent, and if the lever reaches the locking position, the snap tab is brought back to lock the lever. The maximum bent inward angle of the snap tab is set to be smaller than the outward inclination angle of the snap tab without being bent. It is possible to prevent contact between the snap tab and the electric wires. The electric wires are prevented from being damaged, and the operation failure of the snap tab is also avoided.
