摘要: This invention relates to a method of fixing an inside panel of a car, and its fixing structure. In a structure for fixing an inside panel by employing an interior decoration material to form a passenger room of a car, the present invention relates to a method and a structure for fixing an inside panel of a car, particularly suitable for a railway car. An inside frame which is press-formed is fixed to frames of a car, and an inside panel is fixed to the inside frame through fasteners. Since the inside panel is fixed to the press-formed inside frame, surface uneveness does not occur on the inside panel even if any unevenness exists on the frames of the car. A cushion material is attached to the inside frame at the joint portion of two inside panels along the joint portion. The inside panel has a decoration sheet bonded to its surface, and this decoration sheet is bent back at the edge portions of the inside panel. Therefore, the appearance of the joint portion can be improved.

摘要: A car body of railway rolling stock suitable for use for passenger cars or electric passenger cars and easy to fabricate at a low material cost. An underframe constituting the car body comprises a center underframe produced at light-alloy extruded shapes and an end underframe produced of a ferrous material, and a roof framing, a side framing and an end framing which constitute the car body are composed of outer plate members produced of a ferrous material and frame members produced of a ferrous material.

摘要: A car body, in which a hollow shape stock composed of two face plates and ribs joining the face plates together is used to form a side body, and stresses are reduced while minimizing an increase in mass. A car body, comprising a hollow shape stock composed of two face plates (31, 31) and ribs (32) joining the face plates together and used to form a side body (11), wherein face plate portions (31c, 31d) in regions (B, D) above and below connection points (c) between circular arcs, which constitute corner portions of a window (15), and vertical sides of the window (15) are greater in thickness than in the remaining regions (A, C, E). Stresses are most heavily concentrated in the regions (B, D). Therefore, it is possible to achieve reduction in mass and enhancement in strength together. Further, buckling preventive tools can be arranged in spaces in the regions (B, D) of the hollow shape stock. Further, with the hollow shape stock (18) in a pier panel, face plates on an internal side are greater in thickness than those on an external side.

摘要: In a railway car body formed of hollow shape members 40, a hollow shape member 51 having a shock absorbing function is provided to the ends of a hollow shape member 40 constituting an underframe 30, where impact load is most likely to be received. The hollow shape member 40 is positioned so that the longitudinal direction thereof is arranged along the longitudinal direction of the car body. When impact load is received, the hollow shape member 51 formed at the ends of the member 40 deforms and collapses, thereby relieving the impact force. The present invention simply provides treatment to some areas of the hollow shape members that form the car body without changing the conventional railway car structure greatly, thus minimizing the impact load provided to the passengers upon collision, and improves the safety of the railway car.

摘要: The floor of a passenger cabin in a railway car is mounted on a base plate 23 of an underframe 11 via plural common joists 33, 34. The vibration of the truck is transmitted via a center pin 27, a bolster 25, center sills, a base plate 23, and common joists 33, 34 to the floor 31, thereby vibrating the floor. Out of the common joists 33 and 34, the common joists 34 that are positioned near the width-direction-center of the car body do not extend beyond the center sill 25 toward the longitudinal end of the car body. This arrangement reduces the vibration of the floor 31 positioned at the longitudinal end portion of the car body.
