摘要: In a weak mating force female terminal formed with a base plate portion; a pair of elastic curled portions extending from both side ends of the base plate portion so as to be folded over an inner surface of the base plate portion; and a pair of electric contact portions each extending from a middle end of the elastic curled portion so as to be bent outwardly along the inner surface of the base plate portion at an inner end of the elastic curled portion, in particular each of the elastic curled portions is formed with a primary inclined guide portion extending upwardly and outwardly toward a male terminal insertion opening at an outer end of the elastic curled portion; each of the electric contact portions is formed with a secondary inclined guide portion extending upwardly so as to intersect the primary inclined guide portion of the elastic curled portion at an outer end of the electric contact portion; and a pair of thirdly inclined guide portions each of which is disposed between a base of said primary inclined guide portion and a base of said secondary inclined guide portion and extends upwardly.

A plurality of bosses are protruded on the holder and are inserted into a plurality of connector side through holes formed in the opening end part and a plurality of cable side through holes formed in the plate-like cable. A back end surface of the sealing member abuts against the plurality of bosses.

摘要: A double-lock connector includes a connector housing having terminal receiving chambers, metal terminals for being inserted respectively into the terminal receiving chambers, and a terminal retainer connectable to a rear end portion of the connector housing in a two-stage manner, that is, in a provisionally-connected condition and a completely-connected condition, wherein even when the terminal retainer in the provisionally-connected condition, the metal terminal can be smoothly inserted into the connector housing. The double-lock connector of the present invention includes a connector housing and a terminal retainer for being inserted into the connector housing. The connector housing has a plurality of terminal receiving chambers which are separated from one another by a horizontal partition wall and a vertical partition wall. An elastic retaining piece is provided within each of the terminal receiving chambers. A rearwardly-extending tongue-like terminal guide piece is formed on the horizontal partition wall, separating the upper and lower terminal receiving chambers from each other, and is disposed centrally with the width of each terminal receiving chamber. A front end of the terminal guide piece is extended substantially to an inlet end of the connector housing.

摘要: Disclosure is an electrical connector comprising an opening of each terminal receiving chamber which is formed by cutting out an upper wall of a connector housing, and a rear holder including a movable arm portion having a plurality of terminal engagement portions formed thereon corresponding to the openings which is integrated with the connector housing via hinge bands. The rear holder is connected to the connector housing by way of two stages comprising a provisionally connected state and a normally connected state. While the provisionally connected state is shifted to the normally connected state, fitting guide projections formed on the movable arm portion are brought in the connector housing along fitting guide grooves formed in the connector housing in the forward/rearward direction so that the movable arm portion is displaced in the connector housing, causing the terminal engagement portions to enter the locus of displacement of terminals.

摘要: The connector consists of a connector housing with terminal accommodating chambers formed therein and a rear holder integrally joined to the housing by hinge straps. The housing has in an outer peripheral wall thereof openings extending to the terminal accommodating chambers, and the rear holder includes terminal locking projections insertable into the terminal accommodating chambers through the openings. The rear holder is fittable on the housing in two steps of a preliminarily engaged state and a fully engaged state. In the preliminarily engaged state, the terminal locking projections are located out of movement paths of the terminal lugs in the terminal accommodating chambers and in the fully engaged state, the terminal locking projections are located in the movement paths to prevent the terminal lugs from slipping off from the rear of the terminal accommodating chambers. The above structure leads to prevention of damages to the hinge straps during transportion and the like.

摘要: A locking mechanism for a male/female connector system comprises a flexible locking arm formed on a connector housing. The locking arm has formed at its free end a locking projection which lockingly engages a shoulder on a mating connector housing. The locking arm and locking projection lie below the fulcrum of the locking arm with respect to the connector housing. When forces tending to separate the mated connector housings are applied thereto, a moment is created acting on the locking arm in a direction to strengthen the engagement between the locking projection and the shoulder.

摘要: A connector having an engagement detecting device, comprises: a first connector housing for housing a plurality of first connector terminals; a second connector housing for housing a plurality of second connector terminals mated with the first connector terminals, and engaged with the first connector housing; a slider inserted into the first connector housing in two stages of a half engagement position and a full engagement position; and a short-circuit spring disposed within the first connector housing, for shorting electrically two adjacent mated connector terminals when the slider is inserted into the first connector housing to the half engagement position, but disconnecting electrically the same two adjacent mated connector terminals when the second connector housing is engaged with the first connector housing and thereafter the slider is further inserted into the first connector housing to the full engagement position. The short-circuit spring can apply a reaction force to the slider when the slider is further inserted to the full engagement position, thus providing a stable connector engagement detecting device while decreasing the number of parts.
