    摘要: A position detection device includes an electromagnetic conversion element and a magnetic field generator. The electromagnetic conversion element is arranged on a given plane. The magnetic field generator is arranged facing one side of the electromagnetic conversion element in a direction vertical to the given plane and generates a magnetic field covering the electromagnetic conversion element. A relative position between the electromagnetic conversion element and the magnetic field generator is detected when a relative displacement parallel to the given plane is made by the electromagnetic conversion element and the magnetic field generator based on an output signal of the electromagnetic conversion element. The magnetic field generator has an opposed face that tilts to the electromagnetic conversion element, and generates the magnetic field from the opposed face.

The tactile sense stimulus mechanism includes a first magnetic field generating portion, a second magnetic field generating portion, and a tactile sense stimulus member, the first magnetic field generating portion has a North magnetic pole and a South magnetic pole that are arranged at given intervals to face each other, the second magnetic field generating portion is interposed between the North magnetic pole and the South magnetic pole to be movably provided in perpendicular to a direction that connects the North magnetic pole and the South magnetic pole, and the tactile sense stimulus member is secured to either the first magnetic field generating portion or the second magnetic field generating portion.

    摘要: An input device includes an input pen that is capable of detecting an amount of a pen pressure applied to a pen tip. The input pen has a resistance film that alters a resistance vale thereof according to a touch area, a spring that alters the touch area between the spring and the resistance film, a pen pressure detecting circuit that detects the amount of the pen pressure applied to the pen tip based on the touch area, and an infrared output circuit that outputs the amount of the pen pressure to a receiver with the use of infrared rays. The spiral-shaped spring is configured so that a diameter may become smaller as further from the pen tip. It is thus possible to detect the amount of the pen pressure applied to the pen tip based on the touch area that varies according to a movement of the pen tip, and thereby possible to express different line widths in drawing according to the amount of the pen pressure applied to the pen tip.
