Abstract: An articulated hinge that can hold a folded part of a flexible display sheet that deforms following the opening and closing of the first and second casings, and an electronic gear using this articulated hinge, an articulated hinge couples the first and second casings of an electronic gear in a foldable manner by a relative folding motion between the open and closed positions where an articulated hinge is arranged on the back side of a flexible display sheet attached over the inner surfaces of both the first and the second casings is disclosed. Abstract: An object of the invention is to provide a document cover closer as well as office equipment having such a document cover closer, wherein it is possible to finely adjust a spring force and to set its adjusting range within a wide range, as well as to downsize the apparatus.To achieve the above-mentioned object, in a document cover closer 5 according to the invention, a supporting part 20 is rotatably attached to an attaching part 10 being a base via a first hinge pin 81, and a lift part 30 to which the document cover is fixed is rotatably attached to the supporting part 20. In an elastic force adjusting portion 60, as the document cover is opened and the supporting part 20 is erected, the spring force adjusting screw 80 extending perpendicular to an axial direction of the first hinge pin 81 is rotated; then, as the spring force adjusting cam plate 61 moves in a forward and backward direction along cam tracks of cam surfaces 52L, 52R extending along a forward and backward direction of the second spring receiving portion 42, a spring sheet plate 70 as well moves integrally to compress or expand a first coil spring 43 and the second coil spring 44 to adjust a spring force.

Abstract: To provide the original cover closer which can control a rotation torque accompanied with an opening and closing operation of in a simple structure, as compared to the conventional original cover closer, solution is made in that the original cover closer comprises an attaching part attached to the main body side; a supporting part, wherein its side plates are rotatably attached to the both side plates of the attaching plate via a hinge shaft, as well as the original cover is attached to the supporting part; a pressure receiving part provided between the both side plates of the attaching part; a cam slider slidably provided inside the supporting part by making its cam portion abut against the pressure receiving part; an elastic module resiliently provided between the cam slider and a free end side of said supporting part, so as to bring the cam slider into press contact with the pressure receiving part and to rotatably urge the supporting part in an opening direction of an original cover; and a brake module provided between the supporting part and the cam slider, and that the brake module consists of a plurality of friction protruding ridge portions provided on an inner wall surface of the supporting part toward the cam slider, and at least a gently-sloping upward inclined portion gradually climbing from the cam slider side is provided on each of the friction protruding ridge portions.
