摘要: A conveyor belt aligning device (1) comprising a support frame (2) mounted on a support beam (3) and being substantially horizontal pivotable about a first axis (4), the support frame (2) comprising a frame formed by a cross member (6) and a lever arm (8) extending from the cross member (6); at least one conveyor belt support roller (10) mounted on the cross member (6) of the support frame (2); a guide roller (14, 15) mounted on a transverse beam that is pivotably mounted on the lever arm (8) of the support frame (2), the transverse beam (16) being pivotable about a second axis (18), the guide roller (14, 15) being adapted to engage one of the longitudinal edges of the conveyor belt; a stay member (20) extending between the support beam (3) of the support frame (2) and the transverse beam (16) so that, in use, the transverse beam (16) remains substantially perpendicular with the centre line of the conveyor belt, whereby the conveyor belt, whereby the conveyor belt aligning device (1) further comprises means for adjusting the distance (19) between the first axis (14) of the support frame and the second axis (18) of the transverse beam (16), and means for adjusting the distance between the second axis (18) of the transverse beam (16) and a central axis (26) of rotation of the guide roller (14, 15).

摘要: A reversible belt steering assembly for centering of conveyor belts which during operation is subjected to a lateral displacement away from a neutral position. A rotating mechanism (3, 19) supports at least one steering roller for the conveyor belt, and is rotatably attached to a first fixed beam (2) for rotation about an axis (a) perpendicular to the conveyor belt. A first set of guide rollers (9) abuts the sides of the conveyor belt, and is thus displaced laterally depending on the lateral displacement of the conveyor belt, and a first transfer mechanism supports the first set of guide rollers (9) for transferring the lateral displacement of the first set of guide rollers (9) to the rotating mechanism (3, 19), to rotate the steering roller to a position where it guides the conveyor belt back to the neutral position. There is a second set of guide rollers (9′) corresponding to the first set of guide rollers, and a second transfer mechanism corresponding to the first transfer mechanism. The two sets of guide rollers (9, 9′) and the two transfer mechanisms are arranged mutually opposite and inverted with respect to an intermediate axis of symmetry which is transverse to the longitudinal direction of the belt and extends through the axis (a) of the rotating mechanism. The reversible belt steering unit (1) also comprises a switch mechanism for disconnecting and connecting the first and second transfer mechanisms in relation to the rotating mechanism (3, 19).

In the event of a lateral misalignment of the belt (5), the belt's movement will be transferred from the guide rollers (9) to the steering rollers (1), with the result that the steering rollers return the belt to a neutral position. Preferred ratios are described between different lengths of a lever arm (6) for transfer of the movement. A method for loading of a conveyor belt comprises moving the conveyor belt (5) laterally before loading to a position where the centre of gravity of the loaded material (15) falls on the conveyor belt's central portion (12), and after loading steering the conveyor belt laterally to its neutral position.

摘要: A cleaning device for a conveyor belt for installation essentially transverse to the longitudinal direction of the conveyor belt. The cleaning device comprises a supporting structure (3) adapted to hold the cleaning device in place transverse to the conveyor belt (2), the cleaning device covering essentially the whole width of the conveyor belt (2) and consisting of a plurality of individual scraper segments (1′), each of which consists of a body having a scraping face (4), which scraping face (4) rests against the conveyor belt (2). The cleaning device is characterised in that the scraping face (3) on each of the segments (1′) is elastically connected to the supporting structure (3), the number of segments (1′) is relatively great and all the segments are covered by a flexible material.
