摘要: A system that incorporates teachings of the subject disclosure may include, for example, receiving segment ratings and semantic labels associated with media content from a group of first communication devices, analyzing the segment ratings and the semantic labels to identify universal segments among the plurality of segments that satisfy a threshold based on common segment ratings and common semantic labels; and providing universal reactions and an identification of the universal segments to a second communication device for generation of a content rating for the media content based on the universal segments and reaction data collected by sensors of the second communication device, where the universal reactions are representative of the common segment ratings and the common semantic labels for the universal segments. Other embodiments are disclosed.

摘要: Embodiments include processes, systems, and devices for developing a virtual sensor. The virtual sensor includes one or more inference models. A decision engine utilizes an inference model associated with a mobile device to determine another inference model that is configured to accept physical sensor data from another mobile device. In this way, the virtual sensor can be developed for use with many mobile devices using initial inference models developed for a small number of mobile devices or a single mobile device. Embodiments also include methods to select mobile devices from which to request physical sensor data for virtual sensor input. Embodiments also include architectures that provide a library of virtual sensors.

摘要: Systems and techniques for sensor-derived object flight performance tracking are described herein. A set of magnetometer readings may be obtained from a magnetometer included with an object. A local rotation axis of the object may be determined at a time using the set of magnetometer readings. The local rotation axis may describe rotation of the object around a local magnetic target. A global rotation axis may be calculated based on an initial orientation of the object. The global rotation axis may describe a fixed rotation axis of the object during flight in a global coordinate frame, wherein an angle between the global rotation axis and magnetic north remains constant during the flight. An orientation of the object may be determined for the time using the global rotation axis and the local rotation axis of the object at the time.
