Abstract:
A ball mount for measuring tongue weight of a trailer is disclosed. The ball mount can comprise a ball portion for interfacing with a ball configured to couple with a tongue of a trailer, a hitch portion for interfacing with a hitch receiver associated with a vehicle, and a load measurement device associated with the hitch portion. The hitch portion can be configured to pivot relative to the hitch receiver about a fulcrum in response to a downward force on the ball, with the hitch receiver resisting rotation of the hitch portion about the fulcrum thereby inducing a load on the hitch portion. The load measurement device can be configured to determine a magnitude of the downward force on the ball based on the load on the hitch portion.

Abstract:
A height adjustable basketball standard comprises a fixed support pole, configured to support a backboard assembly above a playing surface. A lifting link has a base end and a traveling end. The base end is pivotally coupled to the fixed support pole and the traveling end is pivotally coupled to the backboard assembly. A parallel link has a parallel base end pivotally coupled to the fixed support pole and a parallel traveling end pivotally coupled to the backboard assembly. A drive mechanism is coupled to the support pole and engages the lifting link. The drive mechanism is configured to provide a force which is sufficient to pivot the lifting link relative to the fixed support pole, thereby adjusting the height of the backboard assembly relative to the playing surface. The drive mechanism engages the lifting link in a manner sufficient to vertically move the backboard assembly about 1 inch upon moving the force application point of the lifting arm about ⅕ of an inch.
Abstract:
A ball assembly for attachment to a ball mount is described. The ball assembly can include a ball post that is securable to a ball mount. A hitch ball is slidably coupled to the ball post at a ball end of the ball post. A load gauge is disposed at the gauge end of the ball post. A load transfer element is operably associated with both the hitch ball and the load gauge so as to cause a load measurement to display on the load gauge based upon a load applied to the hitch ball.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to the use of a racemate of the compound of formula (1) consisting of at least 85% S-enantiomer and not more than 15% R-enantiomer or of pharmaceutically acceptable salts of said racemate or of the S-enantiomer of formula I or of pharmaceutically acceptable salts of said enantiomer for the treatment of anxiety or other psychiatric disorders with underlying anxiety symptomatologies or for the treatment of affective and attention disorders; pharmaceutical compositions for that purpose and packages comprising said pharmaceutical compositions together with instructions for the use of said compositions for the treatment of anxiety or other psychiatric disorders with underlying anxiety symptomatologies or of affective and attention disorders.
Abstract:
A ball mount for measuring tongue weight of a trailer is disclosed. The ball mount can include a ball portion having a hitch ball configured to couple with a tongue of a trailer. The ball mount can also include a hitch portion for interfacing with a hitch receiver associated with a vehicle. In addition, the ball mount can include a load measurement device associated with the ball portion to determine a magnitude of a downward force on the hitch ball. The load measurement device can include a reservoir having a fluid and a piston disposed therein, and a pressure sensor in fluid communication with the reservoir. The hitch ball can be configured to exert a force on the piston, thereby affecting a pressure of the fluid in response to the downward force on the hitch ball.
Abstract:
A leg extension device comprises at least two support posts and at least two cross members, pivotally coupled to and constraining the at least two support posts in a substantially parallel relationship. A foot support platform is configured to receive a foot of a wearer to support the wearer on the leg extension device. The foot support platform is slidably coupled aside each of the at least two support posts. An interlock mechanism is operable to engage the foot support platform to selectively restrict movement of the foot support platform relative to the support posts to allow adjustment of a height of the foot support platform.
