摘要： A cache processing unit searches a translated sentence cache file of a header matched with a translating request from a translated sentence cache database and transmits translated sentence cache data to a client. If the translated sentence cache file cannot be searched, the translated sentence cache file in which only the header matched with the translating request has been stored is preliminarily registered into the translated sentence cache database and, thereafter, a cache state is set into “during translation”, thereby allowing a translation executing unit to machine-translate original sentence file. After completion of the machine translation, a translation result is transmitted to the client and stored into the translated sentence cache file which has preliminarily been registered, and the cache state is set into “available”.

摘要： In a system for adjusting the tension of an endless transmitting belt in an internal combustion engine, a control system automatically adjusts the tension to be applied from a tensioner to the endless transmitting belt. The control system includes a driving-side rotational state detecting device for detecting the rotational state of a driving wheel which drives the endless transmitting belt. A driven-side rotational state detecting device detects the rotational state of a driven wheel driven by the endless transmitting belt. A control unit calculates a difference in rotational phase between the driving and driven wheels from results of detection by both rotational state detecting devices and controls the operation of a tension changing device in accordance with the difference in rotational phase. Thus, it is possible to accurately and quickly accommodate a very small variation in tension of the transmitting belt without specially using a strain gauge.

An upper shift-inverting unit inverts the pixel values, shifts them upward by one dot, and thus converts the primary binary image into an inverted upper-shifted image. A lower shift inverting unit inverts the pixel values, shifts them downward by one dot, and thus converts the primary binary image into an inverted lower-shifted image. A right shift inverting unit inverts the pixel values, shifts them rightward by one dot, and thus converts the primary binary image into an inverted right-shifted image. A left shift inverting unit inverts the pixel values, shifts them leftward by one dot, and thus converts the primary binary image into an inverted left-shifted image. A gradation processing unit subtracts the inverted upper-shifted image, inverted lower-shifted image, inverted right-shifted image and inverted left-shifted image from the weighted multivalued image, thereby synthesizing these pieces of image data. The primary binary image is thus converted into the half-tone image with gradations containing half-tones.
