摘要: An assembly for a vehicle comprising a crossmember, which is provided for connecting to two pillars lying opposite each other with respect to the x-y plane of the vehicle; a mounting that is connected to the crossmember, protrudes therefrom in the radial direction, and has two mounts, which are mutually spaced in the y direction, and end-face connection means; and a panel-shaped instrument which is connected to the connection means of the mounting at a distance to the upper closure thereof and which is held such that the operating surface of the instrument faces the passenger compartment of the vehicle in the x direction. The two mounts are designed as supporting frame mounts with a respective upper cord and a respective lower cord, each of which has limbs adjoining one another at an angle, one limb lying on the y-z plane and the other lying on the x-y plane, and which are inclined relative to each other so as to have a greater distance to each other at the instrument connection side than at the end facing the crossmember. At least one of the two cords has at least one predetermined bending point, which is provided by the geometry of the cord, between the two connection points of the cord, said cord bending at the predetermined bending point in the z and/or y direction in the event of a load (x direction).

The support part is made of a different material than the metal connector. The metal connector has a multi-part construction including a base part and a bracket part. The metal connector is connected in a materially bonded manner to the support part in the area of its support part enclosure. The bracket part is connected to the base part via a joining process using heat.

摘要: An instrument panel support for installation between the two A-pillars of a motor vehicle. The instrument panel support comprises a crossmember which extends between the A-pillars and has at least one connecting member at each end for connecting the instrument panel support to the vehicle via fasteners. The connecting members have a U-shaped main body connected to the crossmember, its longitudinal axis aligned in the z-direction, with at least one support insert extending between the two wings and penetrated by a fastener for connecting the instrument panel support on the vehicle side. The opening side of the main body points in the transverse direction to the longitudinal extension of the crossmember. The support insert and the spine of the main body have fastening apertures aligned with one another at least in regions for passing the shank of a fastener therethrough.

摘要: An instrument panel support 1 is used for installation between the two A-pillars 2, 2.1 of a motor vehicle. The instrument panel support 1 comprises a cross-member 3 which extends between the A pillars 2, 2.1 and which has at least one connecting element 4, 4.1 on each of its two ends for connecting the instrument panel support 1 to the vehicle by means of screw fasteners 10. The connecting members 4, 4.1 have a U-shaped main body 6 connected to the cross member 3, its longitudinal axis aligned in the z-direction, with at least one support insert extending between the two wings 7, 7.1 and penetrated by a fastener 10, for connecting the instrument panel support 1 on the vehicle side. The opening side of the main body 6 points in the transverse direction to the longitudinal extent of the cross-member 3. The support insert and the wing 8 of the main body 6 have fastening apertures aligned with one another at least in regions for the purpose of passing through the shank of a fastener 10.
