摘要： In a process for producing a float plate glass having a plate thickness falling within a range from 0.1 mm to 2 mm, the process includes a step of draining a surface portion of a melted glass base material from an inside of a forming furnace or a glass-material melting furnace, in a region upstream from a location at which a width of glass ribbon is adjusted by top rolls.
