    摘要: A process for the purification of phosphoric acid containing cationic impurities is disclosed wherein there is added to a crude phosphoric acid an organic solvent miscible in all proportions with water and phosphoric acid and thereafter contacting the resulting solution with an inorganic material in aqueous or solid form to effect the preferential passage of the impurities of the crude phosphoric acid/organic solvent solution into an aqueous inorganic phase with phosphoric acid remaining in the organic solvent phase from which purified phosphoric acid is recovered by distillation of the organic solvent.

    摘要: Disclosed is a process for the precipitation and separation of cadmium sulphide from the raffinates derived from phosphoric acid purification by treating the cadmium containing streams of the raffinates with a H.sub.2 S containing solvent phase in a mixing-settling apparatus, by separating the raffinate phase from the cadmium sulphide containing solvent phase and by separating the precipitated cadmium sulphide from the solvent phase. By operating this process it is possible to remove cadmium in a simple manner from the raffinates since their inherent properties don't influence the precipitation and separation of cadmium sulphide.

    摘要: The invention concerns a method for the liquid/liquid extraction of uranium from phosphoric acid with the aid of alkylamine polyphosphate and/or alkylamine metaphosphate compounds, dissolved in organic solvents insoluble in water. The uraniferous phosphoric acid is brought into contact with an organic phase compound of a long-chain alkylamine polyphosphate and/or alkylamine metaphosphate compound and an organic solvent, the alkylamine in the alkyl residue containing 8 to 30, preferably 8 to 18 C-atoms corresponding to the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 denote hydrogen or alkyl radicals and R.sub.3 denotes an alkyl radical, the polyphosphate and/or metaphosphate residue having 2 to 10,000 P-atoms per molecule and being of the straight-chain and/or linked-chain or cyclic chain type. The uranium is transferred from the aqueous into the organic phase from which the uranium is re-extracted in the known way.

    摘要: The invention is concerned with a process of removing cadmium from acid, especially P.sub.2 O.sub.5 -containing solutions by liquid/liquid extraction with the aid of alkyl amine salts that are dissolved in an inert, organic solvent. The cadmium ions are removed from the acid, aqueous phase and are enriched in the organic phase. The cadmium-containing organic phase, subsequently, is re-extracted with an aqueous salt solution, with the cadmium ions migrating from the organic phase into the aqueous phase. The process is particularly suitable for extracting cadmium from concentrated, highly acid aqueous solutions.
