The mobile device is configured to transmit a request for device-to-device connection settings data to the connection settings server, the connection settings server is configured to receive the request, determine appropriate device-to-device connection settings data, and transmit the appropriate device-to-device connection settings data to the mobile device, the mobile device is further configured to receive the appropriate device-to-device connection settings data and establish a device-to-device connection with the target device, wherein the establishing of the device-to-device connection is facilitated by the device-to-device connection settings data.

摘要： An apparatus, system, and method for a communication network that includes base stations, mobile terminals, and media servers. A base station may receive enable a device-to-device connection between a media server and a mobile terminal. The mobile terminal and the media server may establish the enabled device-to-device connection to create an underlay network within the cellular network, the underlay network including the mobile terminal, the media server, and the device-to-device connection. In some embodiments, the mobile terminal and the media server each include a device-to-device radio that is used to establish and maintain the device-to-device connection.

摘要： A provided apparatus is caused to direct establishment of a connection of the apparatus with a core network via a wide area radio access network (RAN), where the core network is coupled to an external network. The apparatus is also caused to select or receive selection of a local area network that is coupled to the same or different external network via one or more local gateways (L-GWs). The apparatus is caused to request selection of a L-GW of the one or more L-GWs from the core network via the wide area RAN, and in response, receive an identity of a selected L-GW. Further, the apparatus is caused to direct contact with the selected L-GW based on the identity, and establishment of a connection of the apparatus with the selected L-GW. The apparatus may thereby be connected to the external network via the local area network and selected L-GW.

摘要： Pilot sequences (for aiding a receiver in estimating a channel) are disposed in a frame structure that has subframes of sub-carriers and symbol positions. Locations of common pilot sequences are predetermined, and includes 1) in each subframe, a pilot sequence is disposed in a first symbol position for each of at least two staggered sub-carriers, and 2) in at least one subframe, at least one pilot sequence is disposed in other than the first symbol position and in a sub-carrier other than any of the at least two staggered sub-carriers. Dedicated pilot sequences, whose locations in the frame are not predetermined, are disposed in response to an indication of channel quality received over a wireless link. Common pilot sequences may relate to one or two transmit antennas, and dedicated pilot sequences may enable addition of third and fourth transmit antennas.

The information may include signaling information about the overall control channel structure in a given sub-frame and/or other common information to assist UEs in decoding the channel (e.g., definitions related to the overall arrangement and parameterization of the channel structure). The information may provide non-UE-specific, common signaling information for the UEs served in the cell. In one exemplary embodiment of the invention, a method includes: providing at least one control channel allocated over at least one set of subcarrier resources, wherein the at least one control channel extends over a number n of multicarrier symbols; and transmitting information via a portion of the sub-carrier resources, wherein the transmitted information is indicative of at least one property of the at least one control channel.
