摘要： A method for maintaining a sealed beam lamp unit comprising a quartz iodine lamp accommodated in an outer envelope. A sleeve-shaped cap which is made of a metal strip material surrounds the lamp pinch which is substantially rectangular in cross-section and to which a wire is secured which serves as the sole support for the lamp.
