摘要： Exterior rearview mirror for vehicles, preferably for motor vehicles. The exterior rearview mirror has a mirror base with a bracket. Supported on the mirror base is a mirror head with a bracket that can be folded about one axis in the direction of travel and one axis opposite the direction of travel. In order to design the exterior rearview mirror to ensure foldability of the mirror head in a simple manner, the brackets on the mirror-head side and mirror-base side are each equipped with joint parts that are detachably connected to one another to form the two pivot/fold axes for the mirror head. As a result, the exterior rearview mirror is economical to manufacture and also to assemble. Due to the small number of components and its lack of susceptibility to problems, the exterior rearview mirror is especially suitable for use in motor vehicles.

The rear side and the recess are unitary in structure. A light plate extends across the recess. The light plate has a contour that is substantially similar to the housing contour. The light plate is welded to the recess along a shoulder face thereof permanently sealing the space between the recess and the light plate and eliminating the need for a seal between the space and the mirror housing.

摘要： A cleaning assembly cleans an exterior surface of a motor vehicle. The exterior surface defines first and second edges. The motor vehicle includes a cleaning fluid reservoir. The cleaning assembly includes a connector for connecting the cleaning fluid reservoir with the cleaning assembly for receiving fluid therefrom. A distribution chamber is in fluid communication with the connector and receives the fluid received by the connector. The cleaning assembly also includes a nozzle fixedly secured to the distribution chamber for disbursing the fluid over the exterior surface. The nozzle includes a nozzle opening that defines a slot opening such that a film of fluid exits the nozzle opening over the exterior surface.

摘要： An exterior rearview mirror for motor vehicles has a support member for connecting the rearview mirror to the motor vehicle. A mirror housing is connected to the support member and has a mirror support connected inside the mirror housing. The mirror support has a frontal opening for a mirror. The mirror housing together with the mirror support is pivotable relative to the support member from a position of use into a rest position. The support member is hollow and has a receiving element extending into the interior of the motor vehicle. In the rest position the mirror housing together with the mirror support is substantially folded into the support member.

The exterior rearview mirror has a mirror base, and a mirror body, which can be folded relative to the mirror base and which has a housing. The housing of the mirror body is approximately rectangular when viewed from the side. It is connected to the laterally projecting part of the mirror base in the corner region of the housing. In order to design the exterior rearview mirror such that it is problem-free in use, the housing transitions through a narrow section into a connecting part to the mirror base. The mirror body is mounted on the mirror base by means of this connecting part. Consequently, the overall height of the mirror base can be kept very small. The narrow section of the mirror body prevents wind noises from occurring, since the slip stream can easily flow past the narrow section without catching on parts of the exterior rearview mirror. The exterior rearview mirror has a favorable aerodynamic design, and has a light and small appearance because of the narrow section.

摘要： An external rearview mirror for motor vehicle has a housing and a mirror support plate connected in the housing so as to be pivotable about two axes perpendicular to one another. A pivot joint is connected to the mirror support plate for pivoting the mirror support plate. An actuating lever for pivoting the mirror support plate is provided. Two push rods are pivotably connected with a first end to the mirror support plate at a distance from the pivot joint. An intermediate lever is pivotably connected to the actuating lever and to the push rods. The intermediate lever has a transverse rod with two ends in the form of bearing balls. The push rods have at a second end thereof a bearing cup, wherein each bearing ball of the transverse rod rests in one of the bearing cups.
