Abstract: A device for removing the sheathing from an electrical cable includes a body having a first end, a second end opposite the first end, a longitudinal portion therebetween, and a passage extending through the longitudinal portion from the first end to the second end. The second end defines a first terminal portion of a channel extending along at least a portion of the longitudinal portion of the body. A first cutting edge is disposed within the passage and configured to cut a sheathing of an electrical cable extending through the passage upon the device being moved in a first direction. A second cutting edge is disposed at an angle to the first cutting edge at a second terminal portion of the channel opposite the first terminal portion, and configured to cut the sheathing from the electrical cable upon the device being moved in a second direction opposite the first direction.

The socket has a first hex socket opening sized to engage a hexagonal profile of a first size, and a second hex socket opening sized to engage a hexagonal profile of a second size that is larger than the first size. The socket is mountable on the drive shank in either a first orientation that presents the first hex socket opening for use, or a second orientation that presents the second hex socket opening for use. Additionally, in the first orientation, the socket is mountable in either a screw head receiving position or a drive bit receiving position.

Abstract: A multimode hand tool is disclosed for driving a threaded fastener component in three different modes. A first mode allows a handheld power drive, such as a handheld drill/driver, to rotate a threaded fastener via the hand tool similar to a conventional right angle drive attachment. A second mode allows a user to rotate a threaded fastener by applying a torque force onto a portion of the hand tool in the same fashion as when using a standard ratchet wrench. A third mode allows a user to rotate a threaded fastener by rotating one part of the hand tool relative to another part of the hand tool.
