    Abstract: A showerhead (20) has a spray head (32) having a plurality of spray outlets (36, 38,42,44) on different faces is mounted for manual rotation about a single pivot axis both to select a spray outlet and to adjust the direction of the spray for the selected spray outlet. The showerhead can be configured so that flow of water is uninterrupted during changeover between spray modes. Alternative versions of the showerhead are disclosed in which the spray head is mounted for powered rotation, for example by a motor, allowing remote operation of the showerhead.

    Abstract: A spray assembly (110) for a spray head (200) which is arranged, in use, to adjust a spray pattern of fluid includes a spray plate (118) with a plurality of holes (132, 134) therethrough, and a control member (116) rotatable relative to the spray plate (118). In use, the orientation of the spray plate (118) is fixed and rotation of the control member (116) causes fluid to be directed to different groups of the plurality of holes (132, 134) through the spray plate (118). The spray assembly (110) further comprises at least one flow control opening (152) provided in a flow control plate (124) driven by rotation of the control member (116). The flow control opening (152) is arranged, in use, to be moved in response to rotation of the control member (116). The flow control plate (124) has teeth (142) on its outer circumference which interlock with teeth (146) on an outer circumference of an idler gear (148). The teeth (146) of the idler gear (148) interlock with teeth (144) on an inner circumference of the control member (116).

    Abstract: A fitting assembly for attaching an elongate member to a surface within a shower or bath area includes a clamp including a collar arranged to receive and abut the elongate member, the collar having an axially extending split, the clamp further including a finger extending outwardly from the collar adjacent one side of the split. A cover includes an aperture arranged to receive the elongate member, the cover arranged to retain the clamp within such that the collar is axially aligned with the aperture. A bracket is arranged to be fixed to the surface and to receive and retain the cover containing the clamp, the bracket comprising a receiving portion arranged to urge the finger so as to compress the collar portion at the split, thereby clamping the elongate member within the collar.

    Abstract: A fluid control valve for mixing hot and cold water has an inlet for cold water, an inlet for hot water, and at least one outlet for temperature controlled water. The valve further includes a temperature control device for mixing hot and cold water to provide a source of temperature controlled water that includes a cartridge having inlet ports in communication with the inlets for hot and cold water and an outlet port in communication with the at least one outlet for temperature controlled water. The valve further includes an inner sleeve that defines with the cartridge a first passageway, and an outer sleeve that defines with the inner sleeve and cartridge a second passageway. The first and second passageways are configured to deliver hot and cold water to the inlet ports of the cartridge.
