摘要: A digital camera facilitates remote visual inspection of alignment between a rotor plate and a track plate of a multi-position rotary valve. In some embodiments, a signal from the video camera is used as part of a feedback system that controls advancement of the rotor plate, to automatically align apertures in the rotor plate with apertures in a track plate. Some embodiments facilitate remote visual inspection of the condition of a seal sheet disposed between the rotor plate and the track plate, without disassembling the rotary valve. Some embodiments automatically measure remaining usable thickness of the seal sheet.

摘要: Disclosed herein are embodiments of a valve assembly for providing selective flow communication between a plurality of fluid flow conduits. The valve assembly may comprise two valve members disposed coaxially in fluidly sealing contact and relatively rotatable to provide valving action of at least two port tracks. At least one valve member may comprise a fluid pressure loading means, and the fluid pressure loading means may span at least two port tracks. The valve assembly may further comprise a drive means for driving relative rotation of the valve members in order to enable cycled interconnection and fluid flow through the fluid flow conduits.

摘要: A dual vaporizer mixing system has a vapor generator with a first chimney and a second chimney. The first chimney generates a first vapor column having a first flavor, and the second chimney generates a second vapor column having a second flavor. A regulator is connected to the vapor generator and receives vapor from the vapor generator. A mouthpiece is connected to the regulator and receives vapor from the regulator. A flavor selector is swivel mounted to a swivel joint. The swivel joint is formed on the regulator. The flavor selector has a first flavor selection that allows passage of the first vapor column through the regulator. The flavor selector has a second flavor selection that allows passage of the second vapor column through the regulator.

摘要: A device is provided for use in analytical instrumentation that provides continuous transfer of a known molar quantity of gas from a source having an unknown gas mixture and varying pressure. In addition to the upstream and downstream paths of typical flow control devices, the device has a midstream path to introduce a carrier gas at a known elevated pressure. The device has at least three equal-volume ballast vessels and a valve arrangement to cycle the ballasts through at least three states: fill, equilibrate, and empty. The ballasts fill with the upstream gas, pressurize and equilibrate at the midstream pressure, and empty to the downstream path. The cycle of each ballast is timed in phased relationship to the other ballasts to keep the flow relatively uninterrupted; as one fills, another equilibrates, and another empties.

One embodiment includes a gas compressor for compressing the gaseous fuel to an array of tanks having predetermined initial set points which are increasing for tanks in the array. One embodiment provides a selecting valve having first and second families of ports wherein the valve can be operated to select a plurality of ports from the first family to be fluidly connected with a plurality of ports with the second family, and such fluid connections can be changed by operation of the valve.

摘要: A valve device includes: a driving source making rotational motion; a rotated part provided rotatably around a predetermined axis; and a fluid passage portion having a flow hole for passing a fluid. The valve device further includes: a gear mechanism having gears to transmit rotational motion of the driving source to the rotated part by engagement between the gears to rotate the rotated part; and a biasing part biasing the rotated part toward one side in a circumferential direction with the predetermined axis at the center. The rotated part includes a rotor increasing or reducing an opening of the flow hole in conjunction with rotation of the rotated part and is rotated according to rotational motion of the driving source while being biased toward the one side in the circumferential direction by the biasing part.
