摘要: A touch panel includes a light-transmittable upper substrate, a light-transmittable upper resistor layer on a lower surface of the upper substrate, a light-transmittable lower substrate, a light-transmittable lower resistor layer on an upper surface of the lower substrate, an adhesive layer on an upper surface of the upper substrate, and a light-transmittable plate on the adhesive layer. The upper substrate is made of material having oxygen and nitrogen removed therefrom. The lower resistor layer faces the upper resistor layer by a distance. The light-transmittable plate disables oxygen and nitrogen to pass through the plate substantively. Even being used in high temperatures, this touch panel does not produce an air bubble in the adhesive layer, hence allowing a user to clearly view a display device through the touch panel.

摘要: A touch panel which is constituted by using an adhesive layer having a thickness which is 70% or more of a thickness of an approximately picture-frame-like spacer which allows respective outer peripheries of an upper substrate and a lower substrate to adhere to each other is provided. Due to such a constitution, when the touch panel is used under high temperature or in an environment where the temperature difference is severely large so that the thermal expansion or shrinkage is generated on upper substrate or lower substrate, these thermal expansion and shrinkage can be absorbed by the thick and soft adhesive layer. As a result, it is possible to suppress the peeling-off of upper and lower substrates thus realizing a surely manipulable touch panel.

摘要: A touch panel includes a first substrate, a second substrate, a polarizing plate and a compensating plate. A first conductive layer is formed on the first substrate. The second substrate is formed so as to face the first substrate and has a second conductive layer facing the first conductive layer at a certain interval. The polarizing plate having a heat shrinkage ratio larger than that of the first substrate is laminated on a side, which is opposite to the second substrate, at the first substrate. The compensating plate having substantially an identical heat shrinkage ratio with that of the first substrate is laminated on a side, which is opposite to the first substrate, at the polarizing plate.

摘要: A touch panel has light-transmissive first and second substrates, a phase plate, a polarizing plate, and a correcting plate. The first substrate is formed with a first conductive layer thereon. The second substrate is provided so as to face the first substrate, and is formed with a second conductive layer thereon on the side near the first substrate, facing the first conductive layer at a given interval. The phase plate is stacked on a surface of the first substrate, opposite to a surface facing the second substrate. The polarizing plate has its heat shrinkage ratio larger than that of the phase plate, and is stacked on the side of the phase plate, opposite to the first substrate. The correcting plate has its heat shrinkage ratio equal to or smaller than that of the phase plate, and is stacked on the side of the polarizing plate, opposite to the phase plate.

An upper conductive layer is formed at a lower face of the upper substrate, and a lower conductive layer is formed at a top face of the lower substrate. This lower conductive layer is formed facing the upper conductive layer with a predetermined space in between. The upper wave plate is formed at a top face of the upper substrate. The polarizing plate is formed at a top face of the upper wave plate. The lower wave plate is formed at a lower face of the lower substrate. The first cover layer is formed at a lower face of the lower wave plate. This structure offers a touch panel which is resistant to damage to the lower wave plate and provides good viewability.

摘要: A touch panel includes a first substrate, a second substrate, a wiring substrate provided with a plurality of wiring patterns formed thereon, and an anisotropic conductive adhesive layer. The first substrate has a first conductive layer and first electrodes extending from two opposite sides of the first conductive layer. The second substrate has a second conductive layer confronting the first surface with a space, and second electrodes extending from two opposite sides of the second conductive layer. The anisotropic conductive adhesive layer connects a terminal portion of the wiring patterns to at least one of the first electrodes and the second electrodes. The wiring substrate has a slit or an aperture between the wiring patterns at one end thereof. The touch panel of this structure is easy to produce, and provides reliable operation and electrical connection and separation.

Substrate 20 includes flexible bending section P—P, and when substrate 20 is bend along bending section P—P, some connectors such as 24A, 25A are placed on a second principal surface opposite to the first one, so that wiring substrate 20 is formed.
