    摘要: According to one implementation, a toner includes a toner mother particle and a convex portion on a surface of the toner mother particle. The toner mother particle includes at least a resin (1). The convex portion is formed from a resin particle including at least a resin (2). An average value of a length of a long side of the convex portion is within a range of 0.1 to 0.5 μm. A ratio between a Young's modulus of a non-convex portion of the toner mother particle (ER (1)) and a Young's modulus of a convex portion of the toner mother particle (ER (2)) is a value (ER (1)/ER (2)) within the range of 1.2 to 2.0.

The toner satisfies relation represented by a specific requirement of the total area of the domain phases present in a surface layer area of the toner particle, and the total area of the domain phases present in areas other than the surface layer area, in a given cross-section of the toner particle.

    摘要: An electrostatic charge image developing toner includes a toner matrix particle having a core-shell structure. The toner matrix particle contains: a core particle including an amorphous resin, a colorant, a release agent, and a crystalline resin; and a shell layer coating a surface of the core particle at a coverage of 60 to 99%. The shell layer includes an amorphous resin. The amorphous resin contained in the core particle differs from the amorphous resin contained in the shell layer. The toner matrix particle has one to seven discrete shell domains determined by observation of a cross section of the toner matrix particle with an electron microscope.
