摘要： A shaving head having a shaving unit that includes a shaving unit frame with a skin contacting face, and at least two cutting units each having an external cutting member and an internal cutting member A pivot structure includes inter-engaging portions of a support structure and the shaving unit that enable the shaving unit to pivot relative to the support structure. Each internal cutting member is rotatable by a central driving member via a separate cutter driving member, the central driving member being configured to transmit a driving force to each cutter driving member in a transmission location. The pivot structure is located in an internal area of the shaving head between the skin contacting face, the cutter driving members and the transmission locations. The pivot structure further enables the central driving member and the cutter driving members to pivot together with the shaving unit relative to the support structure.

摘要： A rotary shaving head 3 has at least one cutter unit 10, each cutter unit comprising a cap 16 having an external surface 20 with hair-entry openings 18 for engaging the skin of a user; and a rotary cutter 24 having cutting elements 32 supported by a carrier 26, the rotary cutter being locatable within and rotatable with respect to the cap. The shaving head further comprises: a support member 12 for supporting the cutter unit; and a retainer 30, arranged to engage and lock with the support member by relative rotation therewith and retain the cap and the rotary cutter therebetween, wherein the retainer comprises an annular body 36, 38 defining a drive opening 42, the annular body being provided with one or more holes 40 allowing cut hairs to pass through. The holes are shaped as directional indicators indicating a direction of rotation of the retainer with respect to the support. As a result of the pro posed design, a user can identify the retainer as being a rotational component even though it is located within the support member. In an alternative embodiment, the retainer is provided with gripping formations which are formed as directional indicators.

摘要： The mouthpiece appliance includes an assembly for receiving teeth (12) which includes a plurality of cleansing portions, typically two opposing side portions (14, 16) and an intermediate center portion (18). The brushing portions include bristle sections which are adapted to clean teeth. The appliance includes at least one DC motor assembly (26) with an output shaft with an eccentric mass of crankshaft (28). The appliance further includes a mechanical motor cover comprising a plurality of arm members which are arranged to connect the DC motor assembly to the cleansing portions of the appliance so that as the unbalanced weight on the output shaft rotates, movement of the cleansing portions, toward and away from the teeth or along the surfaces of the teeth occurs, producing cleansing of the teeth.
