摘要: A shaving unit for a shaving apparatus includes at least first and second cutting units which respectively include first and second external cutting members having a plurality of hair entry openings respectively defining first and second shaving tracks. The cutting units further include first and second internal cutting members which are rotatable relative to, respectively, the first and the second external cutting members about first and second axis of rotations, respectively. The first cutting unit is pivotal about a first primary pivot axis which, seen in a direction parallel to the first axis of rotation, is arranged between the first shaving track and the second axis of rotation. Similarly, the second cutting unit is pivotal about a second primary pivot axis which, seen in a direction parallel to the second axis of rotation, is arranged between the second shaving track and the first axis of rotation.

摘要: A shaving apparatus having at least one cutting unit with an external cutting member and a rotatable internal cutting member each the external and internal cutting members having cooperating cutting edges forming bearing surfaces of a first bearing, and a second bearing with bearing surfaces. To minimize the friction between the cutting edges, a support device having visco-elastic properties is provided between the two bearings. During operation, the distance between the bearing surfaces of the first bearing adjusts to the distance between the bearing surfaces of the second bearing. During cutting of hairs, the support device behaves as a stiff element whereas during periods in which no hairs are cut, the support device behaves relatively soft so that the cutting gaps between the cutting edges are closed.

摘要: A vacuum cleaner head has a base and a suction opening in the base. An array of flexible flaps protrudes from the base. The flexible flaps are configured to act on a surface to be cleaned. The flexible flaps are spaced from each other to allow the passage of detritus therebetween in a predefined arrangement. The predefined arrangement of the flexible flaps is configured to promote a non-linear flow path through the array of flexible flaps between an end of the base and the suction opening. 摘要: An electrical appliance for performing a cutting action on hairs present on an area of skin (7) comprises at least one assembly of a driven internal cutting member (5) for cutting off the hairs and an external cutting member (6) which serves for contacting the area of skin (7) and also for covering and contacting the internal cutting member (5). The cutting members (5, 6) are designed such that friction between them is related to their condition of wear in a predetermined way. Information relating to an actual condition of wear of the cutting members (5, 6) is determined by measuring a parameter related to the friction between the cutting members (5, 6) and processing the parameter, and such information is indicated to a user of the appliance.
