摘要： A system and method for sharing an item of media content is described. An exemplary method includes associating a first location with the item of media content at a first mobile device and sending a request to view the item of media content to a second mobile device at a second location. The method includes showing a recipient of the item of media content a simulated journey from the recipient's location to a location associated with the item of media content. The simulated journey includes zooming out from the recipient's location shown on a map, following a path between the recipient's location and the location associated with the item of media content, and zooming into the location associated with the item of media content.
